South Asian Mental Health Initiative and Network, SAMHIN, is a non-profit that addresses the mental health needs of the South Asian community in the U.S. Our goal is to decrease the stigma and shame associated with mental illness and offer resources for people who seek help

The California School-Based Health Alliance (formerly the California School Health Centers Association) improves the health and academic success of children and youth by advancing health services in schools.  We envision a day when all of California's children and youth are healthy and achieving at their full potential. Since hiring our first paid staff in 2003, the Alliance has successfully grown to have an annual budget of more than $1,500,000 and thirteen staff.  We conduct policy work, promote the school based health center (SBHC) model, and assist SBHCs with program development to expand and strengthen school health services.  Our large network of collaborating partners includes 231 SBHCs, numerous school districts, federally qualified health centers and other providers, dozens of state and local policy organizations, and an e-communications network of more than 3,200 individuals. Our goal is to make school health centers an integral and sustainable part of the health care and educational systems. By putting health care where kids are – in schools – school health centers increase access to care and take health problems out of the classroom so that teachers can teach and students can learn.

The MINDS Foundation is dedicated to creating a world in which anyone and everyone has access to high-quality, cost-effective mental health services. By taking a human-centered design approach to mental health, MINDS has increased mental health literacy whilst decreasing social stigma throughout India and the United States. A unique community mental health worker model empowers local leaders to sustain all efforts and create long-term societal shifts in addition to a consistent link to clinical services. Harmony Health Clinic seeks to understand and serve the health and wellness needs of the medically uninsured and underserved who live in Central Arkansas, by providing access to quality medical care at no cost to these patients in a private, community-based clinic, staffed by volunteer professionals and marked by a unique atmosphere of caring, compassion, respect, dignity, and diversity.

The mission of SSJ Health Foundation is to provide compassionate and philanthropic support for the health care ministry of the Congregation of the Sisters of St Joseph of St Augustine, Florida, to the uninsured and underserved in the Miami-Dade community. This mission is accomplished through the work of the St. John Bosco Clinic, a free clinic serving children and adults in our community. As a safety-net clinic, St. John Bosco Clinic provides primary and specialty care to those without access to health care. Our philanthropic supporters and community partners have made it possible for us to serve our community since 1992.

By establishing long-term relationships with sister organizations based in settings of poverty, Partners In Health strives to achieve two overarching goals: to bring benefits of modern medical science to those most in need of them and to serve as an antidote to despair. We draw on the resources of the world's leading medical and academic institutions and on the lived experience of the world's poorest and sickest communities. At its root, our mission is both medical and moral. It is based on solidarity, rather than charity alone. When our patients are ill and have no access to care, our team of health professionals, scholars, and activists will do whatever it takes to make them well- just as we would do if a member of our own families, or we ourselves, were ill.
