Suicide is a preventable mental health crisis. The primary obstacle to suicide prevention is silence. Proactive suicide prevention means starting the conversation on mental health before it adversely impacts our lives. At Hope For The Day, we strive to eliminate the highest risk factors of suicide through outreach, mental health education, and community action.

IN HONOR OF THE LATE JOSH MONROE, OUR FAMILY WOULD LIKE TO PAY FORWARD THE LOVE AND THE BLESSINGS WE RECEIVED DURING THAT TRAGIC TIME OF OUR LIVES TO OTHER FAMILIES THAT HAVE EXPERIENCED TRAUMA. IT IS OUR HOPE THAT MENTAL WELLNESS WILL BE AN IMPORTANT HEALING PROCESS WITH LOVE OFFERINGS TO HELP FAMILIES WITH THEIR NEEDS DURING TRAUMATIC TIMES OR ARE BATTLING MENTAL ILLNESS. JOSH WAS A FINE MUSICIAN, AND WE MET AND CREATED OUR RELATIONSHIP BECAUSE OF MUSIC. SO, A MUSIC FESTIVAL SEEMS THE PERFECT WAY TO HELP THOSE IN NEED AS WE PAY TRIBUTE TO JOSH'S LEGACY. MUSIC HEALS, AND WE HOPE THIS CHARITY WILL HONOR JOSH AND HELP MEND THE HEARTS AND MINDS OF THOSE THAT EXPERIENCE THE UNFORTUNATE. WHERE WORDS FAIL, MUSIC SPEAKS. Hospice Of The Piedmont

Hospice of the Piedmont is an organized, not for profit program that, upon informed choice, provides palliative care, health care, and supportive services to patients, their families, and significant others in both home and facility-based settings. Physical, social, spiritual, and emotional care is provided during the last stages of illness, during the dying process, and during bereavement by a medically directed interdisciplinary team. Hospice of the Piedmont serves patients from four North Carolina counties: Guilford, Forsyth, Randolph and Davidson.
