Currently working with the Department of Health and Human Services to implement fail safes in sober living homes where there is no regulation or oversight. Sober living homes should be required to report deaths to the DHCS in the state where the deaths occur.

Kansas City Autism Training Center

The Kansas City Autism Training Center is committed to helping children on the Autism Spectrum fulfill their potential through ethical, evidence-based treatment, education and training.  Autism is one of the most devastating disorders of early childhood, typically causing life long impairment in every aspect of a young person's development. Over 40 years of research has resulted in a treatment that radically changes that outcome for the better. These applied behavioral analytic techniques are used by the providers of KcATC with the children they serve allowing more than half of them to transition into their public school with little or no assistance.

Community Violence Solutions is one of the oldest Rape Crisis Centers in California, if not the nation. CVS was founded in 1974 and incorporated as a separate non-profit 501(C)(3) organization in 1977. In the past decade, the agency has more than doubled in size, primarily adding services aimed at children, youth and families. Our name change in 2001 reflects a growing continuum of services in Contra Costa and Marin Counties. Our mission statement is: “In partnership with the community, to end sexual assault and family violence through prevention, crisis services, and treatment.”

OneCity is a D.C.-based nonprofit startup working towards bettering the mental health of public school students through fitness and exercise. The majority of D.C. public school students do not receive all of the clinical mental health care they need. With our work, we hope to provide them with healthy alternatives for free.
