Kinship House

At Kinship House, we address the missing piece in services provided to most children touched by foster care and adoption. In addition to significant mental health concerns, these children have been traumatized by a necessary but difficult system. Our work helps minimize transitions and increases the chances of children settling into a stable, healthy and permanent home. Kinship House outpatient child and family services combine ongoing consultation, therapy and education. In addition to treating each child’s mental health issues, we help families develop secure attachments. We know secure attachments to caring adults will help stabilize the child’s mental health. We provide family therapy and consultation to help parents develop the skills to support their child’s unique needs.

This is how Lincoln disrupts the cycle of poverty and trauma, empowering children and families to build strong futures. Only Lincoln provides personalized care through integrated programs focused on education, family and well-being.
