Rape, Abuse & Incest National Network

RAINN (Rape, Abuse & Incest National Network) is the nation's largest anti-sexual violence organization and was named one of "America's 100 Best Charities" by Worth magazine. RAINN created and operates the National Sexual Assault Hotline (800.656.HOPE and online.rainn.org) in partnership with more than 1,100 local rape crisis centers across the country and operates the DoD Safe Helpline for the Department of Defense. RAINN also carries out programs to prevent sexual violence, help victims and ensure that rapists are brought to justice.

International OCD Foundation New Hampshire Affiliate

We are the official NH Affiliate of International OCD Foundation (IOCDF). IOCDF was founded by OCD sufferers in 1986,and is an international not-for-profit organization made up of people with Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD) and related disorders, as well as their families, friends, professionals and others. The mission and goals of the IOCDF are to: Educate the public and professionals about OCD in order to raise awareness and improve the quality of treatment provided; Support research into the cause of, and effective treatments for, OCD and related disorders; Improve access to resources for those with OCD and their families; Advocate and lobby for the OCD community. OCD NH is proud to carry out the mission of IOCDF through programs at the local, community level.

Center For Restorative Justice Works

The Center for Restorative Justice Works unites children, families, and communities separated by crime and the criminal justice system. CRJW calls the community to set aside pre-judgments about women and men in prison in order to work together to accompany families torn apart by the crime and the criminal justice system; create awareness about the negative impacts of incarceration on children and families, and advocate for programs and policies that restore relationships.

The Center For Family Justice

We are Connecticut's First Family Justice Center offering streamlined and free confidential crisis services to victims and survivors of domestic and sexual violence and child abuse in one safe location. As an FJC we work closely with police, prosecutors, civil/legal service providers and and community-based advocates to provide a coordinated, collaborative response that saves lives and empowers victims to become self-sufficient survivors. In addition we provide community-based education and training to create the social change that is critical to break the cycle of violence. We help men, women and children and their family members--of any age, race, religion and gender, impacted by domestic violence and sexual assault and child abuse in the communities of Bridgeport, Easton, Fairfield, Monroe, Stratford and Trumbull.
