Long Beach Community Table's mission is to contribute to the health, well-being, empowerment and self-determination of under-served populations in the greater Long Beach Community by providing affordable, nutritious, organic foods, hygiene products, clothing and other resources, such as a community garden, garden building and education on self sustainability, etc. accessible to all through a locally-oriented, collectively-managed not-for-profit organization. NORTHERN MICHIGAN SUBSTANCE ABUSE SERVICES ENHANCES QUALITY AND ACCESS OF BEHAVORIAL HEALTH PREVENTION, TREATMENT AND RECOVERY SUPPORT SERVICES THROUGH ADVOCACY, INFRASTRUCTURE DEVELOPMENT, AND DELIVERY OF EVIDENCE BASED QUALITY SERVICES. IT CURRENTLY ACHIEVES THIS MISSION BY OPERATING AN OUTPATIENT SUBSTANCE USE DISORDER TREATMENT PROGRAM THAT IS DESIGNATED BY THE FEDERAL GOVERNMENT AS AN OPIATE TREATMENT PROGRAM AND A PEER RECOVERY PROGRAM THAT PROVIDES PEER RECOVERY COACHING THROUGH VOLUNTEERS THAT SERVES ALL OF NORTHERN LOWER MICHIGAN.

Breast Cancer Angels

The mission of Breast Cancer Angels is to provide immediate direct financial and emotional assistance for individuals and their families as they are going through breast cancer treatment. Breast Cancer Angels helps to address the ancillary needs of those who are currently in treatment. We provide food, supplies, gas, other day-to-day items, pro-bono legal services; along with medications, treatment costs and health insurance premiums. We also provide for costs associated with second opinions. 

Drug Policy Alliance

The Drug Policy Alliance envisions a just society in which the use and regulation of drugs are grounded in science, compassion, health and human rights, in which people are no longer punished for what they put into their own bodies, but only for crimes committed against others, and in which the fears, prejudices and punitive prohibitions of today are no more. Our mission is to advance those policies and attitudes that best reduce the harms of both drug misuse and drug prohibition and to promote the sovereignty of individuals over their minds and bodies.

Edgewood Center For Children And Families

Edgewood Center for Children and Families is a non-profit provider of behavioral health services to children, youth, and families that has served the San Francisco Bay Area for over 170 years. As the oldest children’s charity in the Western US, Edgewood helps individuals and their loved ones who struggle with mental illness and behavioral health issues by providing treatment, prevention programs, and crisis services. Our mission: to promote the behavioral health of children, youth, and families and support a positive transition to adulthood.

The Triangle Down Syndrome Network (TDSN) is a nonprofit support, resource, and advocacy organization for individuals, families, and professionals. Our mission is to support, educate, and connect individuals with down syndrome, their families, and communities in North Carolina. First Call For Help of Broward

2-1-1 Broward's is a one-program multi-service agency that provides vital linkages between health and human service providers and the Broward community through the 2-1-1 general and specialty Helplines. It is 2-1-1 Broward's mission to provide 24-hour comprehensive Helpline and support services for individuals in our community seeking crisis/suicide intervention, and/or information and referrals for health and human services, community resource and disaster-related information in Broward.

Tadsaw

The TADSAW (Train A Dog - Save A Warrior) mission is to provide for the training of a Medical Alert Service Dog, as designated by the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) guidelines, for Any wounded Veteran Service Member (Active Duty, Retired, Discharged), surviving with Military Induced Anxiety Depression Syndrome (MIADS), Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), Military Sexual Trauma (MST) and/or Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI), in order to restore and improve the Veteran's Quality of Life with a canine 'Battle Buddy', at no charge to the Veteran or their family.

Clear Thoughts Foundation

Clear Thoughts Foundation (CTF) was established in 2010 with a vision to see a world free of dementia. Their mission is to fund the discovery of breakthrough drugs and novel treatments to eliminate dementia. All of the founding members of CTF have had some personal experience with dementia or other related cognitive disorders, and have been disappointed with the lack of available and effective drugs and therapeutics in today’s market. CTF will raise funds to enable the discovery of effective dementia medications and treatments by removing the traditional barriers to drug discovery.

The Samaritan Center At The Jersey Shore

The mission of The Samaritan Center at the Jersey Shore is to provide hope and resiliency by providing professional counseling and prevention education and awareness programs. We are a non-profit corporation established to provide individuals, couples and families with the inner strength and emotional resources to advance their emotional, spiritual, mental health and wellness with quality professional counseling and coaching services. Our staff is dedicated to integrating one’s faith and honors people from all backgrounds and beliefs. We work very hard to ensure cost is not a barrier.

National Association For Down Syndrome

The National Association for Down Syndrome supports all persons with Down syndrome in achieving their full potential. In fulfilling our mission, we will: Provide families with Down syndrome members with information and resources to enable them to access and evaluate appropriate services. Educate the public about Down syndrome. Address social policy issues and challenges facing the Down syndrome community. Facilitate and encourage active participation by self-advocates and families in the delivery of education, vocational, residential and other services for persons with Down syndrome.

Thompson Child & Family Focus

The mission of Thompson Child & Family Focus is to embrace children ages birth to 18 who are at risk for social and academic failure. The agency accomplishes this by providing intensive treatment, protection, specialized education, and stabilized family environments through strategies of healing, teaching, worship and play. Through a variety of intensive programs, abused, neglected and homeless children find hope and healing. The overarching goal for all Thompson programs is that fragile, at-risk children move forward into safety and fulfillment.
