It is the mission of First H.E.L.P. to reduce mental health stigma through education, advocate for benefits for those suffering from post-traumatic stress, acknowledge the service and sacrifice of first responders we lost to suicide, assist responders in their search for healing, and to bring awareness to suicide and mental health issues.

The Trevor Project is the world’s largest suicide prevention and crisis intervention organization for LGBTQ+ (lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, and questioning) young people. The organization works to save young lives by providing support through free and confidential suicide prevention and crisis intervention programs on platforms where young people spend their time: a 24/7 phone lifeline, chat, and text. The organization also runs TrevorSpace, the world’s largest safe space social networking site for LGBTQ youth, and operates innovative education, research, and advocacy programs.

The Jed Foundation

The Jed Foundation works nationally to promote emotional health and prevent suicide in student populations. It is 2-1-1 Broward's mission to provide 24-hour comprehensive Helpline and support services for individuals in our community seeking crisis/suicide intervention, and/or information and referrals for health and human services, community resource and disaster-related information in Broward.

The Home for Little Wanderers

The Home's mission is to help vulnerable children and their families build permanent, positive change. Each year, our community-based programs and residences meet the needs of more than 15,000 diverse youngsters and family members. These children are often society’s most vulnerable, victims of trauma, violence or shattered family lives. We ensure their emotional, social, educational and physical well- being from birth to age 26 through a dedicated team of professionals and a wide range of critical services. As a result, disadvantaged kids have safe surroundings, loving relationships and a secure path toward tomorrow.
