The Georgia Center for Child Advocacy was established as a private, non-profit agency in 1987. The Center's purpose is to champion the needs of sexually and severely physically abused children through prevention, intervention, therapy and collaboration.  The mission is accomplished by conducting forensic interviews and evaluations, psychological treatment and crisis counseling, educating other professionals about child sexual abuse, and facilitating coordinated service between the public agencies involved in the investigation, prosecution, and treatment for each child we serve.

Our vision is a world in which every child thrives and has a full and fair opportunity to achieve the future they envision for themselves. Our purpose is to amplify youth power, dismantle racism and other structural inequities, and build just policies, practices, and culture that center youth. Our mission is to Center Youth through impact litigation, policy advocacy, collaboration and research that fundamentally transforms our nation's approach to education, health, immigration, foster care, and youth justice.

There are dozens of events and groups that meet here, some focused on specific topics (like coming out or gender identity) and others aimed at fun social interactions (like sing-along piano cabarets or craft nights). Entry to most of these is sliding-scale and run by dedicated volunteers, keeping Q Center truly community-driven and accessible. In addition to our programmatic offerings, our 5,000 sq/ft facility is also a safe and friendly place to spend an afternoon. With our monthly art exhibits, extensive library collection, Resource Wall, and free WiFi access, there’s always something to see and learn here at Q Center.

Center for Hope & Safety (formerly Shelter Our Sisters) is dedicated to assisting Bergen County, NJ victims and survivors of domestic violence, and their children, by turning fear into safety, helplessness into strength, and isolation into hope. The agency provides emergency and transitional housing, emotional support, and a diversified continuum of services focused on safety, empowerment, and self-sufficiency. Through community partnerships, Center for Hope and Safety raises awareness, provides services, and educates community members about domestic violence.

The LGBT Center of Greater Reading creates, administers, and provides services, advocacy, and support to the Greater Reading LGBTQ+ community, and our allies, with the goal that all may live a life of fulfillment, inclusion and celebration.
