Our mission is to address the health, safety, economic and social justice issues related to domestic violence, sexual assault, and substance abuse. To achieve our mission we deliver services using a three-pronged approach: Training & Technical Assistance Public Awareness Direct Services

The CSDEA advocates transformational policies that lead to peacebuilding, health and good governance through advocacy, capacity development, reflective dialogue and research. The CSDEA also embraces a multi-stakeholder approach while networking with organizations that share similar values at the local, sub-regional, continental and global levels.

Focus on Children Now (FCN) is:Driven by the motto, “Breaking the poverty cycle, ONE CHILD at a time” and the mission of helping impoverished children access basic necessities of life; FCN striving to bring health, education, nutrition and hope to disadvantage children by collaborating with national and international organization with similar objectives.

Mission Statement: Helping Families...Changing LivesA New Leaf  has been Helping Families…Changing Lives for 51 years with over 35 programs including affordable housing, homeless and domestic violence shelters, behavioral health and community programs serving 32,424 clients and residents annually.

The Virginia Legal Aid Society (VLAS) will provide high quality civil legal services to eligible low-income people. VLAS uses legal skills to solve problems in such areas as housing, health care, public benefits, economic self-sufficiency, education, consumer purchases and family relations.

IMANI HOUSE's mission is to assist low-income youth, families, and immigrants to create viable neighborhoods where residents are decision makers who take responsibility for the improvement of their lives and surroundings. This is achieved through programs that provide Youth and Family Support Services Including Health Care, Health Education, Adult Literacy, and Information and Referral Services. Founded in Liberia W. Africa Imani House believes that anyone can achieve success and a higher quality of life if only they have access to appropriate information, skills and opportunities. Our programs in Liberia and Brooklyn use a bottom-up approach where grassroots people are recruited as trainers and employees and run our programs within their own communities.

Mercy in Action is a non-profit organization that focuses on the crisis in Maternal/Newborn/Child health care worldwide. We have been establishing and funding free birth centers for poor families in the Philippines since 1992, and to date more than 12,000 babies have been delivered free of charge for the poorest of the poor in Mercy In Action's Birth Centers, and literally tens of thousands of lives have been helped and healed in the medical outreaches. Mercy In Acton also teaches clinical internships, seminars and training retreats to prepare midwives, medics and nurses to meet the global shortage of skilled birth attendants, and to help primary health care workers prevent unnecessary child deaths.

The Aleph Institute is a 501c3 certified non-profit Jewish organization dedicated to assisting and caring for the wellbeing of members of specific populations that are isolated from the regular community: U.S. military personnel , prisoners, and people institutionalized or at risk of incarceration due to mental illness or addictions. Aleph addresses their religious, educational, and spiritual needs, advocates and lobbies for their civil and religious rights, and provides support to their families at home left to fend for themselves. The Aleph Institute is committed to criminal justice reform and recidivism reduction through preventive-education and faith-based rehabilitation programs, re-entry assistance, alternative sentencing guidance and counsel, and policy research and recommendations.

In 2021, The Dr. Tylithia L. Burks Foundation was founded to preserve the philanthropic legacy of Dr. Tylithia L. Burks and her zeal for education, leadership, youth, health, religion, global causes, and the local community. The Tegan and Sara Foundation fights for health, economic justice and representation for LGBTQ girls and women. This mission is founded on a commitment to feminism and racial, social and gender justice. In partnership and solidarity with other organizations fighting for LGBTQ and women's rights, the Foundation raises awareness and funds to address the inequalities currently preventing LGBTQ girls and women from reaching their full potential. This work is critically important because… LGBTQ women have higher rates of gynecological cancer, depression, obesity, suicide and tobacco/alcohol abuse. Discriminatory laws, provider bias, insurance exclusions and inadequate reproductive health coverage leave 29% of LGBTQ women struggling to pay for health insurance. A quarter of lesbian women live in poverty. LGB women of color are three times more likely to live in poverty than their white peers. Transgender women are four times more likely to have a household income under $10,000 and twice as likely to be unemployed. One in five transgender women has reported being homeless at some point. Less than 1% of TV characters are lesbians. In 2016, 25 queer female characters were killed on-screen – continuing a decades-long trend.

The mission of The San Diego LGBT Community Center is to enhance and sustain the health and well-being of the lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and HIV communities by providing activities, programs, and services that Create community, Empower community members, Provide essential resources, Advocate for civil and human rights, and Embrace, promote and support our cultural diversity.

EVA is a non-profit organization recognized by the Internal Revenue Service and registered in the State of Illinois. It was created for the purpose of assisting Ecuadorian institutions devoted to educational, social, and health programs for the poor, neglected, and at-risk segments of the population. EVA is run by volunteers, and the various programs are implemented through network of viable, non-profit Ecuadorian institutions previously selected by a careful screening process. EVA requires that all the funds collected and distributed as yearly grants be only used for programmatic objectives of the organization it sponsors. EVA's Community Assistance Grant was instituted in 2008 to improve the quality of life of economically disadvantaged people living in the Chicago Metropolitan area where EVA is located. I Since its inception, we have been giving opportunities to advance educational, health, and human service programs in the local community.
