Independence House helps all domestic violence and sexual assault victims and their children by creating opportunities to find safety and become empowered through crisis intervention, advocacy, counseling, referral, prevention outreach, education and inspiring change in our community. Our vision is to see domestic and sexual violence come to an end.

CAA was founded in 1969 to protect the civil and political rights of Chinese Americans and to advance multiracial democracy in the United States. Today, CAA is a progressive voice in and on behalf of the broader Asian and Pacific American community. We advocate for systemic change that protects immigrant rights, promotes language diversity, and remedies racial injustice.

How Women Lead advocates for top executive women by affecting change at all levels through a proven, four-step strategy: by affecting systems reform, mobilizing a movement, offering training, and giving access to opportunities. How Women Lead continues to grow, currently working with thousands of women in more than 40 countries; we grow every day as top women executives invite their colleagues, partners and associates around the world into the community.

Our mission is to provide the resources necessary to bring about a change where children and young people do not need have to take to the streets for survival or refuge, but identify and define their sense of belonging in their families and communities. It is characterized by our objectives: Wherever possible to mediate the reunification of, and re- establishment of the bonding between, the child and the family. Where not possible, we identify suitable alternative based care, primarily foster care. To enable the growth of children and young people living on the street into responsible citizens with genuine concerns for the welfare of other fellow human beings and the development of society in which they live; To provide interventions for change in the child's attitude, values, and outlook in life, from a hostile, aggressive, fearful, distrustful,insecure and exploited child to one conscious of the value of the dignity of the human person living in society with freedom-in-responsibility
