PACER founded the National Bullying Prevention Center in 2006 to actively lead social change, so that bullying is no longer considered an accepted childhood rite of passage. Children with disabilities are two to three times more likely to be bullied than their nondisabled peers, and PACER's resources are available to all students, parents, and educators

Founded in 1955, the World Rehabilitation Fund is the pioneer organization devoted to the development and implementation of rehabilitation programs for people with disabilities throughout the world. WRF's mission is: to enable individuals around the world with functional limitations and participation restrictions achieve community and social integration through physical and socio-economic rehabilitation and advocacy; and to prevent disability and reduce disadvantage.
