Hunger Task Force believes that every person has a right to adequate food obtained with dignity. We work to prevent hunger and malnutrition by providing food to people in need today and by promoting social policies to achieve a hunger-free community tomorrow.

Food & Friends’ mission is to improve the lives and health of people with HIV/AIDS, cancer and other serious illnesses that limit their ability to provide nourishment for themselves by preparing and delivering specialized meals and groceries, providing nutritional counseling, and reducing social isolation.

FDAAF was formed exclusively for charitable and educational purposes, including promoting ADA compliance, disability rights, empowerment, empathy, and inclusion through educational programs, social campaigns, print, modern media, and information technology products and services.

Our mission is to identify highly vulnerable unaccompanied immigrant minors who are homeless or detained by federal authorities and provide these often traumatized minors with a temporary home and essential social, educational, and legal services to address their trauma, well-being, and legal immigration status

DC Justice Lab is a team of law and policy experts engaged in researching, writing, organizing, and advocating for large-scale changes to the District’s criminal legal system. We develop strategies and solutions that are evidence-driven, community-rooted, and racially just. As the only DC-focused criminal justice reform organization, we offer affirmative solutions to justice responses that have their own harmful, criminogenic effects by initiating actionable reforms. We promote decarceration, compassion, and providing people with the tools and resources they need to thrive. We work with and transfer power to DC residents most impacted by criminal laws.

There are over 60 million missing girls in India. They were either aborted before birth, killed once born, died of neglect just because they were girls, trafficked, or given away in child marriage. This stems from disregarding the value of its women for centuries. The root of this stems from extreme poverty and an age-old practice of dowry that is deeply ingrained in its culture. Rescue Pink works to change this through rescue, prevention, and awareness.
