The Center for Reproductive Rights uses the law to advance reproductive freedom as a fundamental right that all governments are legally obligated to protect, respect and fulfill.

The Afiya Center's (TAC) mission is to serve Black womxn and girls by transforming their relationship with their sexual and reproductive health through addressing the consequences of reproductive oppression. We aim to achieve our mission through providing refuge. education, and resources. TAC is the only Reproductive Justice (RJ) organization in North Texas founded and directed by Black women. Our center is taking part in the greater fight to provide every woman with their right to health care.

The Gay and Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation (GLAAD) amplifies the voice of the LGBT community by empowering real people to share their stories, holding the media accountable for the words and images they present, and helping grassroots organizations communicate effectively. By ensuring that the stories of LGBT people are heard through the media, GLAAD promotes understanding, increases acceptance, and advances equality.

Earth Island Institute (EII) was founded in 1982 by veteran environmentalist David R. Brower (1912 - 2000) to encourage the efforts of creative individuals on critical ecological issues. EII supports diverse new initiatives and provides a stable base for on-going projects. This network of 60 projects shares central resources and benefits from the synergetic exchange of experience, ideas, and energy. EII has been widely recognized for its unique organizational model that "reduces, reuses, and recycles" resources, freeing individual projects to communicate with their constituencies and to respond quickly to evolving environmental and social justice challenges. Earth Island continues its pursuit of David Brower's ideal of Global CPR -- conservation, preservation, and restoration for planet Earth.

Raksha -- meaning "protection" in several South Asian languages -- is a Georgia-based nonprofit organization for the South Asian Community. Raksha's mission is to promote a stronger and healthier South Asian community through confidential support services, education, and advocacy.

The Equality Texas Foundation works to secure full equality for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer Texans through education, community organizing, and collaboration. Equality Texas Foundation programs are designed to meet individuals where they’re at in their advocacy journey, providing the issue education and skill-building training necessary to confidently exercise activists’ individual and collective power to advance LGBTQ+ rights and fight anti-LGBTQ+ legislation in Texas. Equality Texas Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, and donations can be considered tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law.

from the website: "Since the 2012 death of their son Trayvon Martin in a violent confrontation, Sybrina Fulton and Tracy Martin, along with their son Jahvaris, created the Trayvon Martin Foundation out of a need to bring awareness to ending senseless gun violence. By sharing their personal and powerful stories, they have encouraged diverse audiences—from college students and faculty and legal professionals to community and family organizations—to become more educated on ways to keep their loved ones safe and to empower themselves to become catalysts for social change."
