Right To The City Alliance

Right To The City Alliance (RTTC) emerged in 2007 with a strong and powerful vision to 1) halt the displacement of low-income people, people of color, LGBTQ communities, and youth of color, and 2) protect and expand affordable housing in tandem with a broader movement to build democratic, just, and sustainable cities for the 21st century. Since its inception, Right To The City has quickly grown to encompass 80 community-based racial, economic, gender, and environmental justice organizations located in 43 cities and 26 states. Representing true grassroots power and leadership of the most impacted, RTTC’s member organizations weave together local on-the-ground policy advocacy campaigns to build a robust and unstoppable national movement for housing, land, and development justice.

Chinese American Legal Defense Alliance

To eliminate systematic racial discrimination and hatred against Chinese Americans. The Chinese American Legal Defense Alliance (CALDA) is the United States’ FIRST and ONLY non-profit organization dedicated to providing free and direct legal representation to all Chinese Americans who have suffered racial discrimination and hatred. Our mission is to seek justice and racial equality through litigation and other legal actions. CALDA will retain the best lawyers and hire the biggest guns for the little guys. We will defend Chinese American victims of racial discrimination in a court of law against all offenders, be it an individual, a company, or the government.

North Carolina Center On Actual Innocence

The Center’s primary mission is to identify, investigate and advance credible claims of innocence, obtaining justice for people imprisoned for crimes they did not commit, for the victims of those crimes, and for the actual perpetrators. Our secondary mission is to educate policymakers, the public, and legal and law enforcement communities about the factors that contribute to wrongful conviction, as well as emerging solutions which can increase the reliability of convictions. Promoting such systematic changes to our criminal justice system helps: -Prevent the true perpetrators from evading capture and victimizing others -Increase public confidence in the system -Decrease cost to taxpayers -Save people from years of suffering due to wrongful imprisonment

National Stop The Violence Alliance

National Stop the Violence Alliance, Inc.'s (NSTVA) mission is to help heal our communities through the principles of nonviolence. NSTVA is committed to working collaboratively with the community through ministerial outreach, youth programs, collective conferences with law enforcement agencies and public officials, and informational seminars about the effects of drug usage, gang violence, sex education, and about economic uplifting, such as how to ace interviews, how to obtain employment, and how to manage unemployment. It is NSTVA's mission to help end violence across the country and to bring awareness to many illnesses that are affecting our culture.
