EDUCATION: TO PROVIDE RESOURCES FOR DOMESTIC VIOLENCE AND SEXUAL ASSAULT ADVOCACY PROGRAMS AND OTHER ENTITIES.

TO INCREASE THE NUMBER OF BLACKS IN MANAGEMENT POSITIONS, TO ENCOURAGE AND EDUCATE YOUNG BLACKS INTERESTED IN PURSUING A JOURNALISM CAREER, AND TO MONITOR AND SENSITIZE ALL MEDIA TO RACISM.

Gay Straight Alliance for Safe Schools increases the capacity of LGBTQ students, educators, and families to create schools in Wisconsin where all youth thrive. We do this by: *Developing the leadership of LGBTQ students, *Supporting Gay-Straight Alliances, *Training educational staff on creating safe and supportive school communities, *Advancing educational justice, and *Deepening racial, gender, and social justice.

The Snake River Alliance serves as Idaho’s nuclear watchdog and Idaho’s champion for renewable and nuclear-free energy. We raise community awareness about the dangers of nuclear waste, weapons and power while working to identify and promote sustainable alternatives. We do our work through advocacy, collaboration, education and grassroots organizing.

The National Center on Shaken Baby Syndrome (NCSBS) has a mission to prevent shaken baby syndrome/abusive head trauma through the development and implementation of education, programs, public policy and research; to establish networks, support and train families, caregivers and professionals.

The Task Force on Family Violence of Milwaukee, Inc. (TFFV) provides advocacy, education and access resources to keep people safe. TFFV is a leader in addressing the problem of domestic violence and the myriad of needs of survivors in our community. Our leadership and innovative thinking has created a rich history and strong foundation for our work.

Our mission is to help women, men and children live without fear of harm from violence in the family. Our goals are to empower victims by providing protection and support, to advocate batterer accountability, and to promote individual and community awareness.

The National Federation of Filipino American Associations (NaFFAA) is a non-profit, non-partisan organization. Established in 1997, NaFFAA has been the standard bearer for promoting the welfare and well-being of the 4 million Filipinos and Filipino Americans throughout the United States. NaFFAA is the largest national affiliation of Filipino American institutions, umbrella organizations, and individuals. Its thirteen-member regions cover the continental United States, Alaska, Hawaii, and the Pacific Islands.
