Program For Torture Victims

PTV works to alleviate the suffering and health consequences of state-sponsored torture, and provides the supportive framework necessary to restore the well-being, identity, and dignity of survivors of torture. We accomplish our mission by providing medical, psychological, and case management services to survivors of torture and asylum seekers from all over the world. PTV's clients are victims of state-sponsored, paramilitary, or tribal violence whose only 'crime' was to belong to a particular tribe, clan, political party, social group, or religion. We also serve victims of female genital mutilation, rape, trafficking, and sexual preference persecution. As the only torture treatment program in the Greater Los Angeles, an area that is home to the largest population of refugees and asylum seekers in the United States, PTV serves clients come from 65 countries in Africa, Latin America, the Middle east, and Asia. 

Veronica's Voice

Founded in 2000, Veronica's Voice exists to empower women to exit from, to prevent the entry into, and to end all demand for prostitution-sex trafficking in the United States through survivor leadership.

Victim Rights Law Center

The Victim Rights Law Center (VRLC) is the first nonprofit law center in the nation solely dedicated to serving the needs of rape and sexual assault victims. Our mission is to provide legal representation to victims of rape and sexual assault to help rebuild their lives and to promote a national movement committed to seeking justice for every rape and sexual assault victim.

Kristi House

Kristi House is dedicated to eradicating child abuse and child sex trafficking – working nationally on solutions, and locally to heal child-victims. Operating the nationally accredited, State-designated Child Advocacy Center (CAC) for Miami-Dade County, Kristi House is responsible for coordinating the seven community partners involved in the investigation, prosecution and treatment of child abuse cases. Kristi House assists child-victims and their families in navigating the complex services involved in the healing process. We are nationally recognized for our evidence-based, therapeutic expertise in treating child sexual abuse and other forms of child trauma. All services are provided at no charge to victims and families.

Delivering Good, Inc. (Formerly Kids/Fashion Delivers, Inc.)

The mission of Delivering Good (formerly K.I.D.S./Fashion Delivers) is to unite retailers, manufacturers, foundations and individuals to provide people impacted by poverty and tragedy with new merchandise, effectively distributed through a network of agency partners to offer hope, dignity and self-esteem to at-risk children, families, and individuals.

The mission of Alliance for HOPE International is to create pathways to hope for women, children, and men who are victims of domestic violence and related sexual assault through collaborative, integrated multi- disciplinary centers, teams, and initiatives in order to break the generational cycle of violence and abuse in families across the United States and around the world.

Season Of Justice

Season of Justice (SOJ) is a nonprofit dedicated to providing funding to investigative agencies and families to help push their unsolved cases closer to resolution. By providing grants for DNA analysis, such as forensic genealogy and next-gen sequencing, SOJ strives to bridge the funding gap preventing agencies from accessing resources that could help solve these complex cases. SOJ also works directly with families to fund comprehensive awareness campaigns and other initiatives that can push their unsolved cases forward.
