We exist to empower communities to end the cycle of human trafficking by starting and supporting social enterprises that raise awareness, offer opportunities for economic independence for survivors and fund the fight against human trafficking. Currently Stories Foundation operates the Freedom Food Truck and Storyteller Catering. In the future we hope to operate a Cafe and sell food products. All with the goal of spreading awareness about human trafficking and empowering people to make a difference through purposeful purchasing as a first step

We cooperate and collaborate with organizations in the USA and elsewhere with similar objectives. Countries in South Asia include Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Bhutan, Burma, India, Nepal, Pakistan, and Sri Lanka. Though there are differences in language, customs, and religions across these countries, these regions share many basic cultural and historical similarities.

Golden House is a comprehensive domestic violence agency that serves individuals and families of ALL ages, genders, races, sexual orientation, and gender expression, with counseling, temporary shelter, 24-Hour help, legal assistance (restraining and harassment order filing assistance), support groups, housing options, prevention education and more.

ICADV provides technical assistance, training and certification to the general public and to domestic violence programs across the state of Iowa. We also provide legal representation to some victims and legislative advocacy.

The National Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) / Guardian ad Litem (GAL) Association for Children, together with its state and local members, supports and promotes court appointed volunteer advocacy for abused and neglected children so that they can thrive in safe, permanent homes. Every year, over 600,000 children experience foster care and need a caring adult to speak up for their best interests. A CASA/GAL volunteer is that voice.
