In addition to providing shelter and basic care, we ensure the medical, dental, and mental health needs of each resident are evaluated, and appropriate services are provided in order to maintain their physical and mental health. We also provide academic support and life skills development to help them achieve academic success and prepare them for independent, adult life. In essence, we strive to serve as a counterbalance to the trauma and neglect they have experienced in order to help guide them through their present challenges, and their years beyond Jesse’s House.
