The Denver Children's Advocacy Center's Mission Is To: Prevent Abuse, Strengthen Families And Restore Childhood. The Goal Is To Ensure That Every Low-Income Child In Metro Denver Who Has Been Traumatized By Sexual Abuse, Or By Witnessing Homicide Or Domestic Violence, Receives Immediate, Compassionate And Effective Intervention - Followed By Treatment - Until They Are Healed.

We are dedicated to supporting secure beginnings in all families with children 0-5 regardless of ability to pay, by nurturing the earliest relationships, where our deepest patterns are set. {Our Work} We are dedicated to the nurture of children pre-birth to five, through inspiring partnerships and community resources that address pre and post-natal well being, infant/ toddler development, and parent education and support. In partnership with parents, health professionals, educators and the community, we create opportunities to connect, to explore, and to engage directly in the development of healthy approaches to early childhood education. WTLC’s mission is to help individuals and families escape the depths of domestic violence and exploitation. Since 1976, our guiding principal has been to end the cycle of violence and exploitation through comprehensive services grounded in evidence-based practices. With a strengths-based, survivor-driven and trauma-informed approach, survivors create healthier and safer lives. WTLC’s programs are flexible and responsive to each survivor’s unique needs. In this way, survivors from a range of backgrounds and experiences receive tailored support addressing personal barriers to long-term stability. Domestic violence and human trafficking are major public health crises, and community support and engagement is integral in WTLC’s work to create a world without violence
