Sanctuary for Families is dedicated to the safety, healing and self-determination of victims of domestic violence and related forms of gender violence.  Through comprehensive services for the clients and their children, and through outreach, education and advocacy, they strive to create a world in which freedom from gender violence is a basic human right.

Quest4Recovery, is a non-profit organization started by 3 friends who want to make a difference. Our goal and mission? To raise funds that support the recovery of children and reunite families.

Open Arms partners with Christian churches to implement and maintain gospel-based programs to bring hope to at-risk children in the church’s local community. Open Arms Worldwide (Open Arms) envisions a world where all children grow up understanding that they are beautiful and precious in God’s eyes and are enabled to discover the hope and future that He has for them.

At Salt & Light we believe that holy yoga, fitness, proper nutrition, and spirituality will change the world. With 25,000 women and girls falling prey to trafficking every year in Chicago alone, we manifest change by providing a volunteer-driven, one-year long program for survivors of trafficking with the dual goal of healing and empowering women to get jobs in the wellness sector.

About Us: Our Bridgeport club was founded in 1992, and is part of Soroptimist International of the Americas which was founded in 1921. Soroptimist is an international volunteer organization for business and professional women who work to improve the lives of women and girls, in local communities and throughout the world. A 501(c)(3) organization, Soroptimist relies on charitable contributions to fund its programs. Local members join with almost 100,000 Soroptimists in more than120 countries and territories to contribute time and financial support to community-based projects benefiting women. Soroptimist International has consultative status with the United Nations’ Economic and Social Council, which oversees U.N. activities promoting human rights. In addition to sponsoring the awards programs, our club has participated in community programs focused on various health and human service issues for women and girls, such as the Center for Women and Families, Mi Casa/My Home, Women and Men’s Health Project, Project Courage, and Local Soup Kitchens. For the better part of 100 years, Soroptimist has been working to empower women and girls throughout the world. Voices For Children raises funds to support Miami-Dade's Guardian Ad Litem Program in their efforts to recruit, train, and support Guardians Ad Litem, court appointed volunteers who serve as advocates for the best interests of abused, abandoned, and neglected children involved in dependency court proceedings. Additionally, Voices For Children provides direct financial assistance and other resources to meet these children's medical, educational, and social needs.

SOLIDARIEDADE NA MOKILI, a global nonprofit 501c3 public charity dedicated to addressing human development. We invest, empower and protect women and children creating healthy, sustainable and productive communities. Our organization places women and children in the forefront because we believe women are the heart of the family, as well as cultural, health and social balances within every community. Women play a central role in health development and education. As such, their empowerment is an indispensable factor for peace, social, economic, and environmental progress. We are convinced giving women the right to choose their lives independently, anywhere in the world, is one of the keys to meeting the challenges of this century.

Soroptimist International of Marysville is celebrating 30 years of service to our community. We are part of Soroptimist International, with over 95,000 members in 120 countries around the globe. Our focus is on service: we are committed to improving the lives of women and children in our community, our country, and around the world. at our local club level, we organize fundraisers to support various service projects chosen by the members. We do several hands-on projects and also donate money to projects that share our vision. We recognize exceptional women and girls with awards and monetary grants to help them continue their work.

WTLC’s mission is to help individuals and families escape the depths of domestic violence and exploitation. Since 1976, our guiding principal has been to end the cycle of violence and exploitation through comprehensive services grounded in evidence-based practices. In this way, survivors from a range of backgrounds and experiences receive tailored support addressing personal barriers to long-term stability.
