This mission will be achieved through education, collaboration, and advocacy, with crisis and supportive services to victims and survivors. The mission of the Center for Safety & Change is to develop strategies to end gender-based violence and provide shelter and supportive services that empower survivors of domestic violence, sexual abuse and other crimes.

The Task Force on Family Violence of Milwaukee, Inc. (TFFV) provides advocacy, education and access resources to keep people safe. TFFV is a leader in addressing the problem of domestic violence and the myriad of needs of survivors in our community. Our leadership and innovative thinking has created a rich history and strong foundation for our work.

THE MISSION OF THE ORGANIZATION IS TO BE THE EXPERT RESOURCE THAT PROVIDES COMPREHENSIVE COORDINATED AND ACCESSIBLE SERVICES TO BUTLER COUNTY FAMILIES. TO RESPOND TO, TREAT AND PREVENT CHILD ABUSE AND DOMESTIC VIOLENCE.

To recruit, train, screen, and supervise court appointed volunteers to advocate for the best interests of abused and neglected children who are under the protection of the DeKalb Juvenile Court.

Founded March 2016, My Sisters Arms mission is to provide emergency and transitional housing to women and children who are or have experienced domestic abuse. My Sisters Arms vision is to educate, advocate and participate in the prevention of domestic and sexual abuse in our community.

Founded in 1921, Soroptimist International of the Americas is an international organization for business and professional women who provide volunteer service to their communities. About 45,000 Soroptimists in 20 countries and territories contribute time and financial support to community-based and international projects benefiting women and girls. Soroptimist International of the Americas is part of Soroptimist International, which comprises almost 95,000 members in about 120 countries. The name, Soroptimist, means 'best for women,' and that's what the organization strives to achieve. Soroptimists are women at their best working to help other women to be their best. Soroptimist members belong to local clubs, which determine the focus of service to their communities. Club projects range from renovating domestic violence shelters, to providing mammograms to low-income women, to sponsoring self-esteem workshops for teenage girls. In addition, Soroptimists participate in organization-wide programs that include the Women's Opportunity Awards, Soroptimist Club Grants for Women and Girls, the Soroptimist Workplace Campaign to End Domestic Violence, the Making a Difference for Women Award and the Violet Richardson Award. All projects seek to make life better for women and girls, in local communities and throughout the world.

S.T.A.R. Programs is committed to providing a safe place for abused and neglected children and helping to rebuild and strengthen their families by providing a continuum of care including counseling, life skills, educational, and recreational services.

We are dedicated to supporting secure beginnings in all families with children 0-5 regardless of ability to pay, by nurturing the earliest relationships, where our deepest patterns are set. {Our Work} We are dedicated to the nurture of children pre-birth to five, through inspiring partnerships and community resources that address pre and post-natal well being, infant/ toddler development, and parent education and support. In partnership with parents, health professionals, educators and the community, we create opportunities to connect, to explore, and to engage directly in the development of healthy approaches to early childhood education. BRIDGES SAFEHOUSE SEEKS TO ENCOURAGE, EMPOWER AND EQUIP PREGNANT, HOMELESS WOMEN AND WOMEN IN CRISIS, AND THEIR CHILDREN, BY PROVIDING SHELTER, RESOURCES, LIFE-SKILLS TRAINING, AND MENTORING WHILE THEY ARE IN OUR CARE.
