The OUTMUSIC Awards (OMAs) is the biggest night in LGBT music & entertainement presented by LARA the LGBT Academy of Recording Arts. Their mission is to educate, raise awareness and ensure that the contributions and achievements of marginalized LGBT are acknowledged, documented, celebrated and included in media, music and entertainment history. To support their missions, they film the OUTMUSIC Awards live to tape.

Building upon the legacy of Muslim American and Japanese American solidarity since 9/11, #VigilantLOVE is a healing and arts-driven organization that counters mainstream narratives of insularity. #VigilantLOVE organizes grassroots movement around Islamophobic ideologies that inflict personal, communal and state violence by creating spaces for connection amongst those identifying as Japanese American, Muslim American, Black, South Asian, Arab, East Asian, queer, trans, and interfaith accomplices.

The Institute on Race, Equality, and Human Rights contributes to the promotion and defense of human rights through training, technical assistance, advocacy, and strategic litigation at the regional and international levels.

Food & Friends’ mission is to improve the lives and health of people with HIV/AIDS, cancer and other serious illnesses that limit their ability to provide nourishment for themselves by preparing and delivering specialized meals and groceries, providing nutritional counseling, and reducing social isolation.

Rainbow Families supports and connects lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer (LGBTQ) parents and prospective parents by providing educational programs, social events, and discussion forums for LGBTQ parents and prospective parents in the DMV area. Rainbow Families is a volunteer led non-profit organization, supported by members, community sponsors, and private and public grants.
