The National LGBT Cancer Network works to improve the lives of LGBT cancer survivors and those at risk by: EDUCATING the LGBT community about our increased cancer risks and the importance of screening and early detection; TRAINING health care providers to offer more culturally-competent, safe and welcoming care; and ADVOCATING for LGBT survivors in mainstream cancer organizations, the media and research.
NQAPIA builds the capacity of local, grassroots, and affinity-based LGBTQ+API groups; advances an intersectional justice and equity agenda for all the communities we call home; supports intergenerational family (re)building and engagement; and ensures LGBTQ+API representation everywhere, especially in research and resource development.
The NGPA mission statement is to build, support, and unite the LGBT aviation community worldwide. Through education, outreach programs, and social events, we promote our primary organizational goals: • to encourage members of the LGBT community to begin piloting careers, • to foster equal treatment of LGBT aviators through advocacy and outreach, • to promote aviation safety, and • to provide an affirming social and professional network for LGBT aviators. Genders and Sexualities Alliance Network (GSA Network) is a next-generation LGBTQ racial and gender justice organization that empowers and trains trans, queer, and allied youth leaders to advocate, organize, and mobilize an intersectional movement for safer schools and healthier communities. In California, GSA Network connects over 1,000 GSA clubs through regional summits and youth councils. Nationally, GSA Network leads the National Association of GSA Networks which unites 40 statewide networks of GSA clubs, and GSAs Unite, an online campaign and petition platform supporting youth organizers across the country.
Equality California brings the voices of LGBTQ+ people and allies to institutions of power in California and across the United States, striving to create a world that is healthy, just, and fully equal for all LGBTQ+ people. We advance civil rights and social justice by inspiring, advocating, and mobilizing through an inclusive movement that works tirelessly on behalf of those we serve.
