Protect & Defend Trans Youth Fund

Right now, there are hundreds of bills pending in state legislatures across the United States that target trans youth and aim to curb their rights. The impact of fighting these anti-trans bills and policies is felt all year by trans people, their families and loved ones. The organizations benefitting from this fund are 1) providing direct services to trans youth and 2) advocating for the rights of trans youth in the states that need it most. All donations will be split evenly amongst: Black Trans Advocacy Coalition, Equality Florida, Gendernexus, House Of Tulip, JASMYN, Lucie’s Place, One Iowa, Our Spot KC, SC United, Southern Arizona Gender Alliance, Tennessee Equality Project, The Knights & Orchids Society, Transformation Project Advocacy Network, Transgender Advocates Knowledgeable Empowering (TAKE), Transgender Education Network Of Texas (TENT), Transanta, Transsocial, Zebra Coalition

The Trevor Project

The Trevor Project is the world’s largest suicide prevention and crisis intervention organization for LGBTQ+ (lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, and questioning) young people. The organization works to save young lives by providing support through free and confidential suicide prevention and crisis intervention programs on platforms where young people spend their time: a 24/7 phone lifeline, chat, and text. The organization also runs TrevorSpace, the world’s largest safe space social networking site for LGBTQ youth, and operates innovative education, research, and advocacy programs.

The Texas Freedom Network Education Fund

The Texas Freedom Network Education Fund supports research and education efforts that protect religious freedom, defend civil liberties and strengthen public schools.

Transgender Legal Defense And Education Fund

Founded in 2003, Transgender Legal Defense & Education Fund (TLDEF) is committed to ending discrimination based upon gender identity and expression and to achieving equality for transgender people through test-case litigation, public education, direct legal services, community organizing and public policy efforts. In 2024, TLDEF merged with National Center for Transgender Equality (EIN 41-2090291) to form a new organization, Advocates for Trans Equality. The new organization will use NCTE's old EIN until it has its own tax-exempt determination from the IRS.

Rainbow World Fund

Rainbow World Fund (RWF) is an all-volunteer international humanitarian service agency based in the gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender (LGBT) and friends community. RWF's mission is to promote LGBT philanthropy in the area of world humanitarian relief. Founded in 2000, RWF works to help people who suffer from hunger, poverty, disease, oppression and war by raising awareness and funds to support relief efforts around the world. RWF works in the LGBT and friends community educating people about world need. Along with raising our community's consciousness, RWF raises funds to support humanitarian relief projects. RWF provides a united voice, a visible presence, and a structure to deliver charitable assistance from the LGBT community to the larger world community.

Stonewall Community Fund

THEIR VALUES: Stonewall Community Foundation is the only public foundation focused on the needs of New York City’s diverse LGBTQ Community "We believe philanthropy, while an expression of love and care, is also power wielded. As such, we strive to model equitable leadership and be accountable, transparent, and trustworthy in our work practices and the advancement of our mission. This includes making philanthropy accessible to everyone and giving people space to live beyond the binary of being only a benefactor or a beneficiary. Q Center provides a safe space to support and celebrate LGBTQ diversity, equity, visibility and community building. Q Center is a 501c3 non-profit organization which offers multi-generational programs and services in four core areas: Arts & Culture; Education & Training; Health & Wellness and Advocacy. 2014 Q Center 990. There are dozens of events and groups that meet here, some focused on specific topics (like coming out or gender identity) and others aimed at fun social interactions (like sing-along piano cabarets or craft nights). In addition to our programmatic offerings, our 5,000 sq/ft facility is also a safe and friendly place to spend an afternoon. With our monthly art exhibits, extensive library collection, Resource Wall, and free WiFi access, there’s always something to see and learn here at Q Center.

Garden State Equality Education Fund

Established in 2004, Garden State Equality (GSE) is the largest LGBT education and advocacy organization in New Jersey and one of the most successful statewide civil rights organization for the LGBT community in the nation. Our services include advocacy, policy work, and trainings. Our signature programs are: Map & Expand, Pledge & Protect, and Teach & Affirm. In collaboration with community partners, Garden State Equality led efforts to ensure nondiscrimination for transgender people and gender nonconforming people in New Jersey, we passed the most comprehensive anti-bullying law in the country, ended sexual orientation and gender identity/expression change efforts in New Jersey (sometimes called conversion therapy), and brought marriage equality to the Garden State! All our current work is informed by racial, economic, and disability justice concerns. We are working to address safe environments for youth, improvement of health services that meet LGBT community needs, and respectful treatment of seniors. Beyond that, Garden State Equality supports New Jersey's activist community by bringing an LGBT lens to the shared struggle for justice. Garden State Equality Education Fun, Inc. is a member of the Equality Federation, a non-profit under the IRS Code Section 501(c)(3), and has achieved a platinum seal of transparency from Guidestar (See https://www.guidestar.org/profile/20-2588166).
