At Asia Initiatives, we believe in leveraging the power of social capital to promote healthcare, education and sustainable development. We strive to bring positive changes to the quality of life of people in underserved communities. With a particular focus on women and their families, our initiatives utilize transformative methodologies and technologies to empower people to realize their full potential. We work with local nonprofits to implement our Social Capital Credits (SoCCs) methodology, which allows people to undertake social good projects, and earn credits for completing those projects that they can redeem for essential products and services.

Reconstructing Hope is an NYC based best in class non-profit charity whose mission is to support, empower, and educate survivors of domestic violence seeking aesthetic and reconstructive surgery and counseling, at no cost to the survivors.

To provide safe emergency housing in a drug free environment for single mothers and their children. We help each family transition into a stable homes by providing them with developmental tools such as family counseling, mentoring, job readiness and emergency child development.

About Us: Our Bridgeport club was founded in 1992, and is part of Soroptimist International of the Americas which was founded in 1921. Soroptimist is an international volunteer organization for business and professional women who work to improve the lives of women and girls, in local communities and throughout the world. A 501(c)(3) organization, Soroptimist relies on charitable contributions to fund its programs. Local members join with almost 100,000 Soroptimists in more than120 countries and territories to contribute time and financial support to community-based projects benefiting women. Soroptimist International has consultative status with the United Nations’ Economic and Social Council, which oversees U.N. activities promoting human rights. In addition to sponsoring the awards programs, our club has participated in community programs focused on various health and human service issues for women and girls, such as the Center for Women and Families, Mi Casa/My Home, Women and Men’s Health Project, Project Courage, and Local Soup Kitchens. Invisible Girl Project's mission is to END GENDERCIDE (the systematic killing of females) in India. Invisible Girl Project raises global awareness concerning the loss of female lives in India, pursues justice for lives lost, empowers women, and assists Indian partners in the rescue of and care for vulnerable Indian girls.

Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) of New Jersey provides a voice for abused and neglected children by empowering a statewide network of county-based CASA programs. Working through community volunteers , these programs advocate on behalf of children in foster care and other out-of-home placements to ensure their well-being and ultimate placement in safe and nurturing permanent homes.

Willie Mae Rock Camp for Girls (WMRC) is a non-profit music and mentoring program that empowers girls, women and/or gender non-binary youth and adults through music education, volunteerism, and activities that foster self-respect, leadership skills, creativity, critical thinking, and collaboration.
