Providing economic opportunities and help develop sustainable communities. Our purpose is to provide resources to creative but overlooked individuals. Those who are trained will train others and continue the cycle to transform other lives, changing the entire nation and eventually the world.

Re:Gender, formerly National Council for Research on Women, works to end gender inequity and discrimination against girls and women by exposing root causes and advancing research-informed action. Working with multiple sectors and disciplines, we are shaping a world that demands fairness across difference.

Mission To encourage girls of any age of any background to consider and pursue math and science-related studies and careers by introducing them to the world of science in fun and exciting ways Objectives To increase the number of women in math and science occupations (science, math, engineering & technology = STEM) To create a network of girls so that they meet one another and form future friendships that will encourage them to reach their potential To create a link between girls and real scientists and mathematicians so they can explore dreams and possibilities for the future To provide an outlet for professionals, with particular emphasis on females in math, science and technology fields, to work together, meet one another and contribute to this worthy mission To booster self-confidence of girls and women, especially those who may not have positive influences or economic advantages Vision We envision a balanced world where girls from any nation, any background and of any age know they have the possibility and choice to enter the world of math, science and technology and to realise that their future is full of possibilities

The Advocacy Project - A Voice for the Voiceless The Advocacy Project (AP) helps marginalized communities around the world take action against the root causes of their disempowerment in a way that benefits society as a whole and produces social change. To do this, we partner with community-based advocates who represent these communities and share their problems. Our support for partners is innovative and effective. First, we deploy Peace Fellows (experienced graduate students) to help partners tell their story, launch campaigns, and strengthen their organization: we have deployed 274 Peace Fellows since 2003, and in the process given our Fellows a unique experience. Second, we help partners to raise funds and manage their campaigns: we have raised over $2.5 million for partners, and are currently seeking funds through Global Giving for exciting projects in Nepal, Vietnam and Uganda. Third, we promote the work of partners internationally, using new methods of story-telling such as advocacy quilting: over 300 women have produced embroidered panels for our quilts, which have been shown throughout North America and Europe. The Human Rights Foundation (HRF) is a nonpartisan nonprofit organization that promotes and protects human rights globally, with a focus on closed societies. HRF unites people in the common cause of defending human rights and promoting liberal democracy. Their mission is to ensure that freedom is both preserved and promoted around the world.

Focusing on communities with pressing human needs, Creative Learning enhances the capacity of local organizations around the world to improve the lives of people in their communities. Through the creation of people-to-people partnerships, we are especially dedicated to protecting human rights, supporting economic and social development, and building peace.

Sanctuary for Families is dedicated to the safety, healing and self-determination of victims of domestic violence and related forms of gender violence.  Through comprehensive services for the clients and their children, and through outreach, education and advocacy, they strive to create a world in which freedom from gender violence is a basic human right.

MISSION Women for Afghan Women (WAW) is dedicated to protecting and promoting the rights of disenfranchised Afghan women and girls in Afghanistan and the U.S. In particular, WAW works to help Afghan women and girls exercise their rights to pursue their individual potential to self-determination, and to representation in all areas of life—political, social, cultural, and economic. Quest4Recovery, is a non-profit organization started by 3 friends who want to make a difference. Our goal and mission? To raise funds that support the recovery of children and reunite families.

The National Network to End Domestic Violence Fund is a social change organization dedicated to creating a social, political, and economic environment in which violence against women no longer exists.

We imagine a world where girls are healthy, educated, and in control of their own destiny - free from violence, disease, and limitations based on gender. WISER works with girls to transcend poverty, HIV/AIDS, and gender-based violence. We do this by empowering young women to drive change through education and community programs.

Nurturing families going through transitions by sharing Christ's love All services are free, confidential and there are no eligibility requirements to benefit from our services. We take no federal or state funding.
