Through partnerships with governments and other local leaders, we will demonstrate a replicable model for cost-effective citywide water, sanitation, and hygiene (WASH) solutions that can improve the lives of millions. Every child deserves the opportunity to thrive. Yet, there are still millions of children lacking access to clean water, reliable infrastructure, and essential knowledge about their wellbeing. PLAY International

PLAY International is a charity founded in 1999 on a conviction: sport is a source of solutions to our societal challenges. Its mission is to cocreate and implement education and inclusion projects for children and youth in vulnerable situations, using sport and sport games as educational tools. The NGO works in particular on issues such as access to and retention in school, gender equalitý, community reconciliation, health prevention, environmental education, living together, changing the way we look at disability... Since its creation, it has implemented educational and humanitarian projects, in France and internationally in 20 countries, for the benefit of nearly one million children.

Office of the Public Guardian, Inc.

The Office of Public Guardian, Inc. , (OPG) serves adults with mental and/or physical disabilities as their court-appointed legal guardian when they are incapable of managing some or all of their affairs. The Office of Public Guardian, Inc. was established to act as a substitute decision-maker for those persons in the big bend area who are functionally impaired to the extent that they require the protection of court intervention. The OPG provides quality public assistance in the form of guardianship services to vulnerable adults adjudicated incapacitated who have no family, friends, or resources to obtain a private guardian. Through the provision of public guardianship services and under the direction of the court, the OPG strives to: enhance quality of life, employ “substituted judgment,” acting as the person would have when making decisions in their best interests, protect against abuse, neglect and exploitation, and safeguard and exercise the fundamental civil rights of the people we serve guardianship is a serious step! Just because the person has a disability does not mean he or she needs a guardian. Guardianship is inappropriate if there are other alternatives such as a durable power of attorney, medical proxy, public benefits’ representative, etc.

Casa Center For Positive Social Change

Casa's mission is to provide social and emotional learning programs and bullying prevention to children and adolescents to develop optimal relationship skills and to prevent abusive and violent relationships. Casa's prevention programs prevent children from becoming abused, from becoming abusive, bullying people, and from becoming involved in abusive relationships. In addition, Casa leads call to action movements to increase public awareness of verbal, and emotional, other abusive behaviors and to implement abuse prevention programs and social and emotional learning programs in schools, camps and after-school systems, as well as in businesses, houses of worship, health centers, and public entities.

The Kasiisi Project (Girls Support Program)

Since 1997, the Kasiisi Project has aided education in and around Kibale National Park in rural western Uganda, East Africa. Founded initially as a link between the research-based Kibale Chimpanzee Project and the local community, the Kasiisi Project now works with several research groups in and around the park to target critical issues for the survival of the forest and support of the local population. We support early childhood education, promote conservation and health education, provide daily school lunches, train teachers, encourage literacy through libraries and computer usage, fund secondary school and college scholarships, and address the special needs of girls.

It is an independent, lay organisation and is also designated an ONLUS (Non-profit organisation of social value). The Foundation works around the world and is closest to the weakest and most neglected children offering them food, medicine, health care, education and programmes for social reintegration. National Women's Law Center

The National Women's Law Center has worked for more than 45 years to expand, protect, and promote opportunity and advancement for women and girls at every stage of their lives - from education to employment to retirement security to health care and everything in between. The Center's research, analysis, and advocacy take place when legislatures are enacting or amending laws, the executive branch and its agencies are writing regulations or otherwise enforcing laws and policies, and the courts are reviewing relevant cases. The Center has succeeded in getting new laws on the books and enforced, litigating ground-breaking cases all the way to the Supreme Court and educating the public about ways to make laws and public policies work for women and their families.

Womens Transitional Living Center

WTLC’s mission is to help individuals and families escape the depths of domestic violence and exploitation. Since 1976, our guiding principal has been to end the cycle of violence and exploitation through comprehensive services grounded in evidence-based practices. With a strengths-based, survivor-driven and trauma-informed approach, survivors create healthier and safer lives. WTLC’s programs are flexible and responsive to each survivor’s unique needs. In this way, survivors from a range of backgrounds and experiences receive tailored support addressing personal barriers to long-term stability. Domestic violence and human trafficking are major public health crises, and community support and engagement is integral in WTLC’s work to create a world without violence

Charity Centre for Children and Youth Development

Charity Centre for Children and Youth Development exists to supporting HIV/AIDS education, Persons living with disabilities, orphans and vulnerable children, youth and women in Solwezi district of Zambia by providing them with, educational support (provision of school requisites and literacy materials), health and life skills and vocational Training. These enables disadvantaged members of our society live life of independence and contribute to the national economy. We envision a society that will work towards eradication of vulnerability and illiteracy among Orphans and vulnerable children, youths and women. The Organization's mission is to promote and enhance the capabilities of children, youth and women in Solwezi district and beyond to effect positive social change that would necessitate the development of their lives, communities and the nation at large.

National Institute Of Family And Life Advocates

NIFLA was founded in 1993 to provide professional legal assistance to pro-life pregnancy centers, which now number nearly 3,000 nationwide. These centers exist to provide alternatives to abortion for women considering abortion. NIFLA concentrates its efforts in assisting centers with their day-to-day legal needs and providing assistance to centers to convert their counseling operations into life-affirming medical clinics staffed by professional health care providers. NIFLA promotes the use of ultrasound under the supervision of a licensed physician to inform women in crisis pregnancies of the life within them so that they can make an informed choice regarding their pregnancy. NIFLA provides legal counsel, resources, and training to centers that desire to make such a conversion.
