Share Child Opportunity Eastern and Northen Uganda (SCOEN)

To attain gender equality in a Ugandan local community through promoting the social, political, educational and economic participation of women and children in community development programs. SCOEN strives to create a future in which all Ugandan women will be viewed and treated equally as men in all aspects of life; political, economic, social, educational and culturally. We will also seek to continue our role as advocates of children and women's rights, promoter of their capacities and driving force of social change, promoting their participation in the decisions that affect their lives, and amplifying their voices for peace and security at the regional, national and global levels.

New Hampshire Coalition Against Domestic & Sexual Violence

The New Hampshire Coalition Against Domestic and Sexual Violence creates safe and just communities through advocacy, prevention and empowerment of anyone affected by sexual violence, domestic violence and stalking. This mission is accomplished by the Coalition, which includes 12 independent community-based member programs, a Board of Directors and a central staff working together to:-Influence public policy on the local, state and national levels;-Ensure that quality services are provided to victims;-Promote the accountability of societal systems and communities for their responses to sexual violence, domestic violence and stalking;-Prevent violence and abuse before they occur.

Mission Live Action works to defend the human rights of the most vulnerable in society: preborn children. Vision Our vision is the end of abortion in America, ensuring all preborn babies are safe from the violence of abortion and their mothers and families have the resources and care they need. The Kasiisi Project (Girls Support Program)

Since 1997, the Kasiisi Project has aided education in and around Kibale National Park in rural western Uganda, East Africa. Founded initially as a link between the research-based Kibale Chimpanzee Project and the local community, the Kasiisi Project now works with several research groups in and around the park to target critical issues for the survival of the forest and support of the local population. We support early childhood education, promote conservation and health education, provide daily school lunches, train teachers, encourage literacy through libraries and computer usage, fund secondary school and college scholarships, and address the special needs of girls.

Ria, Inc Ready.Inspire.Act

RIA, Inc. – ready•inspire•act is a nonprofit organization in MA supporting, and standing with, women with experience in the commercial sex trade by providing a range of community-based services. We practice the power of presence.RIA's premier program offers Accompaniment which is an intentional, trauma-informed approach to care that requires a deep and personal understanding of how power held over another human being damages a person's sense of safety and control over her own life and circumstances. Our model, ​Sisters Leading Sisters, incorporates clinical and healing practices in every step of support. These practices include survivor professional mentorship and advocacy, weekly virtual groups, case management, and clinical therapy.Services are facilitated by skilled women with lived experiences of sexual exploitation/prostitution, addiction, chronic illness, dv, and homelessness. We use an action-oriented, relational approach to fostering self-esteem and self-actualization. We bring compassionate community to the people we meet.

Mission Bambini

Our mission is to aid and support children suffering from poverty, sickness, lack of education or who have experienced physical or moral violence, by offering them the opportunity and the hope of a new life. It is an independent, lay organisation and is also designated an ONLUS (Non-profit organisation of social value). It operates without discrimination of culture, ethnicity and religion and upholds the United Nations rights of the child. The Foundation works around the world and is closest to the weakest and most neglected children offering them food, medicine, health care, education and programmes for social reintegration. In pursuing its goal, Mission Bambini is inspired by the following values: freedom, justice, truth, respect for others and solidarity.

Sister Song Women Of Color Reproductive Justice Collective

SisterSong’s mission is to amplify and strengthen the collective voices of indigenous women and women of color to achieve Reproductive Justice (RJ) by eradicating reproductive oppression and securing human rights. RJ is the human right to maintain personal bodily autonomy, choose when and how to have children or not, and parent in safety with adequate resources. RJ centers the needs and leadership of the most marginalized and the intersections of oppressions. The first RJ organization founded to build the movement, SisterSong includes and represents Indigenous, African American, Asian and Pacific Islander, Arab and Middle Eastern, Latinx, and queer women and trans people. A top RJ thought leader, trainer, organizer, and collaboration facilitator, our focus is Southern and national.

Heart and Hand for Handicapped

Heart and Hand for the Handicapped (HHH) is a not for profit 501(3) organization founded in 1971 run by volunteers. We raise funds to support organizations in India and the United States that empower differently able children with physical or mental challenges. "Funds have been donated to over 200 organizations in India and over 25 in the United States. Our expense ratio per IRS filing is less than 15% of the revenue. Organizations that receive our grants must meet or exceed our rigorous standard for qualification. It includes but not limited to frequent updates as to the use of grants. We raise funds through annual dinners, walk-a-thons, direct mail solicitations, United Way, matching gift programs. We also accept donations of stocks and bonds. Polaris Project

Polaris is leading a data-driven social justice movement to fight sex and labor trafficking at the massive scale of the problem – 25 million people worldwide deprived of the freedom to choose how they live and work. For more than a decade, Polaris has assisted thousands of victims and survivors through the U.S. National Human Trafficking Hotline, helped ensure countless traffickers were held accountable and built the largest known U.S. data set on actual trafficking experiences. With the guidance of survivors, we use that data to improve the way trafficking is identified, how victims and survivors are assisted, and how communities, businesses and governments can prevent human trafficking by transforming the underlying inequities and oppressions that make it possible.

Bonobo Conservation Initiative

Our Mission is to protect bonobos (Pan paniscus), preserve their tropical rainforest habitat, and empower local communities in the Congo Basin. By working with local Congolese people through cooperative conservation and community development programs, and by shaping national and international policy, the Bonobo Conservation Initiative (BCI) is establishing new protected areas and leading efforts to safeguard bonobos wherever they are found. The Bonobo Peace Forest (BPF) is the guiding vision of BCI: a connected network of community-based reserves and conservation concessions, supported by sustainable development. The Peace Forest provides protection for bonobos and other species in the Congo rainforest, while at the same time ensuring a better life for the people who share this precious land.
