The Women's Housing Coalition supports families and individuals with permanent and affordable, service enriched housing. We are dedicated to breaking the cycle of homelessness for women and children. The WHC serves homeless, low-income women with disabilities and families. In addition to housing, WHC services include case management, advocacy and life skills training. Services are tailored to meet the needs of each woman or family and are based on their individual situations and goals.

Outreach Uganda is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization headquartered in Colorado and dedicated to helping empower Ugandans, especially women and children, to rise out of poverty. To do this, we work with village groups in Uganda to bring hope and improve lives, especially in the areas of education, women's empowerment, and self-sufficiency through job creation. Initially, our village groups help support themselves and their families through sales of paper beaded jewelry and other craft items. The beaders save money from their bead sales so they can then start own group or individual businesses to supplement their income and eventually we hope it will be their main source of income. Micro-credit loans from their group's internal revolving loan fund provides additional help for the ladies to either start businesses or further expand their existing businesses to a level that will help them rise above poverty. As an organization, we emphasize to both our donors and our clients that we believe in truly empowering those we help. In everything we do, we seek to be a partner with those we serve so that they do not become dependent on us, and so that we do not take away their spirit of wanting to help themselves. We believe that income-generation of the women, and education of the children is the way that families can truly become empowered. But it is essential to take a holistic approach and focus on multiple areas, all of which impact the woman's income-generation potential. For instance, a woman must be relatively healthy to be a successful business owner. Therefore, we must also help a woman address issues of health. For many of our women in northern Uganda, agriculture and the raising of cash crops will be key to their income generation potential. Therefore, agricultural issues, water issues and even land access and rights become important areas to address.

The Tegan and Sara Foundation fights for health, economic justice and representation for LGBTQ girls and women. This mission is founded on a commitment to feminism and racial, social and gender justice. In partnership and solidarity with other organizations fighting for LGBTQ and women's rights, the Foundation raises awareness and funds to address the inequalities currently preventing LGBTQ girls and women from reaching their full potential. This work is critically important because… LGBTQ women have higher rates of gynecological cancer, depression, obesity, suicide and tobacco/alcohol abuse. Discriminatory laws, provider bias, insurance exclusions and inadequate reproductive health coverage leave 29% of LGBTQ women struggling to pay for health insurance. A quarter of lesbian women live in poverty. LGB women of color are three times more likely to live in poverty than their white peers. Transgender women are four times more likely to have a household income under $10,000 and twice as likely to be unemployed. One in five transgender women has reported being homeless at some point. Less than 1% of TV characters are lesbians. In 2016, 25 queer female characters were killed on-screen – continuing a decades-long trend.

Heart and Hand for the Handicapped (HHH) is a not for profit 501(3) organization founded in 1971 run by volunteers. We raise funds to support organizations in India and the United States that empower differently able children with physical or mental challenges. "Funds have been donated to over 200 organizations in India and over 25 in the United States. Our expense ratio per IRS filing is less than 15% of the revenue. Organizations that receive our grants must meet or exceed our rigorous standard for qualification. It includes but not limited to frequent updates as to the use of grants. We raise funds through annual dinners, walk-a-thons, direct mail solicitations, United Way, matching gift programs. We also accept donations of stocks and bonds. EVA is a non-profit organization recognized by the Internal Revenue Service and registered in the State of Illinois. It was created for the purpose of assisting Ecuadorian institutions devoted to educational, social, and health programs for the poor, neglected, and at-risk segments of the population. EVA is run by volunteers, and the various programs are implemented through network of viable, non-profit Ecuadorian institutions previously selected by a careful screening process. EVA requires that all the funds collected and distributed as yearly grants be only used for programmatic objectives of the organization it sponsors. EVA's Community Assistance Grant was instituted in 2008 to improve the quality of life of economically disadvantaged people living in the Chicago Metropolitan area where EVA is located. I Since its inception, we have been giving opportunities to advance educational, health, and human service programs in the local community.

Kupona Foundation was created in 2009 to support Comprehensive Community Based Rehabilitation in Tanzania (CCBRT). Kupona and CCBRT's mission is to prevent disability and maternal and neonatal mortality and morbidity and to provide equitable access to affordable, quality medical and rehabilitative services. With a direct link to local activities, Kupona ensures maximum return on donor investment and programmatic benefit for CCBRT and its patients and clients. Supporting development of CCBRT's new maternal and neonatal health facility is a priority for Kupona Foundation.

Women's Resource Center (WRC) believes that all people should be free from the crimes of domestic violence and sexual assault. Those who are victims of these crimes should have access to services that assist them in recovering from their trauma and moving forward in their lives. Women's Resource Center is dedicated to providing the highest quality supportive services, counseling, shelter and education to women, men and children involved in or threatened by domestic violence or sexual assault. Women's Resource Center vision is that the agency is the recognized leader in providing quality, compassionate, innovative services to families affected by domestic violence and sexual assault. Through Women's Resource Center's education of future generations, victim empowerment and community awareness, we will create an environment where domestic violence and sexual assault are neither tolerated nor accepted. Women's Resource Center's Core Values support the agency's mission and drive program planning toward the achievement of our vision. Specifically: 1) Domestic violence and sexual assault are always wrong and must be stopped.; 2) These crimes impact the entire community and the community has a moral obligation to take ownership of the problem and its solutions.; 3) Everyone has a right to live in a violence-free home where they are treated with respect and dignity.; and, 4) Victims can be empowered to enhance their lives.
