Wuqu' Kawoq's mission is to address the barriers to excellent health care that the majority of Guatemala's indigenous Maya population face, including principally the lack of access to health care in their own languages. As such, Wuqu' Kawoq develops primary care and health programs within a larger context of community vitality, family stability,and Mayan language revitalization.

The Children’s Bureau mission is to help children succeed and excel at leading happy, healthy, productive lives through a combination of prevention, treatment, research and advocacy. Children’s Bureau is committed to providing vulnerable children — especially in the early years — the foundation necessary to become caring and productive adults by: preventing child abuse and neglect both at home and in the community; protecting, nurturing and treating abused children; enhancing the potential of families and communities to meet the needs of their children by bringing them together to create safe and secure environments; advancing the welfare of children and families through superior programs in foster care, adoptions, child development, parent education, mental health, research and advocacy.

LifeWire's mission is to end domestic violence by changing individual, institutional and societal beliefs, attitudes, and behaviors that perpetuate it. LifeWire envisions a world in which every person lives in a safe environment, free from oppression and with the opportunity to thrive. LifeWire is a nationally recognized leader and the largest comprehensive domestic violence service provider in Washington State. We offer a 24-Hour Helpline, survivor-based advocacy, mental health therapy, innovating homelessness and housing stability services, and ground-breaking social change work.

ZanaAfrica Foundation supports adolescent girls in Kenya to stay in school by delivering reproductive health education and sanitary pads. We envision a world where girls in East Africa live healthy, safe, educated lives while defining their own purpose- a world in which Menstrual Health is recognized as a human right, and the onset of puberty as the most effective way to engage girls in a range of personal health decisions.

Our vision is to positively impact global health through curiosity, connection and contribution. The Curiosity Project is built on a belief that when global health is explored with curiosity and authentic human connection, awareness arises to foster innovative collaborations that improve quality of life for all. Curiosity can truly make a positive impact on global health and inspire others to take action. The Curiosity Project is made up of international humanitarian workers, health care professionals and executives who have been to every corner of the globe generating connections and making an impact. They have spent decades in the field collaborating on healthcare trainings and creating projects to meet the needs UN Sustainable Development Goals.

Our mission is to impact the health of mothers by putting them at the heart of improving reproductive, maternal, newborn, child, and adolescent health. Our Mentor Mother Model empowers mothers living with HIV, through education and employment, as role models to help other women and their families access essential services and medical care. Through this Mentor Mother Model, we work with governments, local partners, and communities to: - Eliminate HIV infections in children - Reduce maternal and child mortality - Advance healthy development of newborns and children - Improve the health of women, adolescents, and families - Promote universal access to reproductive health and family planning - Overcome stigma and discrimination - Champion gender equality - Support livelihood development for families and communities

Women’s Voices for the Earth amplifies women’s voices to eliminate the toxic chemicals that harm our health and communities.

Support the educational aspirations of young indigenous Oaxacan women from impoverished rural communities in the state. Support the successful completion of high school studies of our grantees and their ability to continue university level studies. Promote the holistic development of the grantees during their high schools studies enhancing their studies through workshops and courses regarding gender equity, prevention of adolescent pregnancy and sexually transmitted diseases (STD), prevention of violence in dating relationships, environmental stewardship, and reading outside of school assignments. Include in the grant personal physical and mental health care to assure health issues do not impede their development. Encourage grantees who complete high school successfully to continue their studies at the university level through financial assistance, lodging and other support. In 2018 the Fondo is funding 34 young women in high school and 15 studying in university. Note: The high school level grantees live in their communities or a town nearby that offers high school level studies. Each month all the grantees gather at the Fondo office in the capital city for a weekend workshops and courses and receive their stipend for the following month as well as their expenses for travel.
