The Society for Scientific Advancement (SoSA, thesosa.org) is dedicated to increasing scientific literacy and capacity in developing countries in the Caribbean, as a means for social advancement. We accomplish this by delivering educational programs, workshops and conferences for students at all levels, and local science personnel.

Our mission is to create lifelong learning experiences about the Colorado Plateau bioregion (Southern Utah, Southwest Colorado, Northwest New Mexico and Northern Arizona) for people of all ages and backgrounds through education, service, adventure, and conservation programs.

To achieve this goal, we are changing the way math is taught in the United States. We believe every child has the potential to be a powerful learner and to acquire the problem-solving and math proficiency needed to compete in a knowledge-based economy. Through our uniquely visual, non-language-based approach to teaching math — delivered through our ST Math instructional software — students across the country are deeply understanding math, developing perseverance and problem-solving skills, and becoming life-long learners prepared for success.

To educate, equip and empower our physicians and healthcare practitioners with knowledge about the indisputable benefits of plant-based nutrition. To provide them with the resources they, in turn, use to inform and inspire their patients to shift from the Western industrialized diet to a life-changing, whole-food, plant-based way of living.

The Museum of Nature & Science's mission is to inspire minds through nature and science. Focusing on its collections-based research, displays, exhibitions and educational programs, the Museum is dedicated to instilling and advancing an understanding of the natural and man-made world in children, families, students, teachers and life-long learners in the City of Dallas and throughout North Texas.

Founded in 1998 by leading conservation ecologists, PBI conducts scientific research, training and outreach in ecology, conservation biology, botany and natural resource management, with an emphasis on climate change vulnerability, environmental futures and conservation leadership training. We are especially active in the U.S. Pacific Northwest, and in Argentina, but we have conducted work throughout the Americas.

The Donald Danforth Plant Science Center focuses scientific research at the nexus of food, energy and the environment to improve the productivity and sustainability of agriculture. We assemble interactive teams of scientists and develop unique platforms to discover underlying principles about how plants work. We then convert that knowledge into useful crops and products, and partner with organizations that are best positioned to solve problems where they exist around the world.

The organization's mission is to generate financial support for Roper Mountain Science Center beyond the reach of the school district of Greenville County, in order to instill a love and appreciation of science among school children, teachers, and families.
