Founded in 1922, the AHS is among the oldest and most prestigious horticultural organizations in the United States. Our mission is to share the critical role of plants, gardens, and green spaces while helping to create healthy, livable communities and a sustainable planet.The AHS fulfills its mission through educational programming, The American Gardener magazine, Great American Gardeners Awards, Reciprocal Admissions Program, National Children & Youth Garden Symposium, Travel Study Program, and exemplary gardens at our national headquarters, River Farm. AHS work is national in scope.

In addition, our social marketing techniques enable the marine conservation community to effectively communicate sound solutions to these problems - another vital aspect of our unique approach to solving critical conservation questions.

The mission of the World of Wonders Science Museum is to offer hands-on, science-based exhibits and programs to stimulate discovery for all ages. The WOW Science Museum provides educational opportunities for all ages through interactive science exhibits. The WOW also provides hands-on educational programs including WOW on Wheels, Field Study Trips, Summer Science Camps, and Science Themed Birthday Parties. The WOW on Wheels program brings WOW educators directly into schools to teach hands-on science experiments based on current science curriculum. The Field Study Trips program brings local schools into the museum to explore the exhibits in person and experience a WOW educator-led lesson.

Kids Beating Cancer provides access to life-saving treatments through the science of cellular therapy and advancing pediatric innovative, novel, research, moving new discoveries to patient care, while supporting the children and their families throughout the journey to a cure. Science is the cure to saving children’s lives.

Founded in 1964, the National Academy of Engineering (NAE) is a private, independent, nonprofit institution that provides engineering leadership in service to the nation. The mission of the National Academy of Engineering is to advance the well-being of the nation by promoting a vibrant engineering profession and by marshalling the expertise and insights of eminent engineers to provide independent advice to the federal government on matters involving engineering and technology. The NAE has more than 2,000 peer-elected members and foreign members, senior professionals in business, academia, and government who are among the world’s most accomplished engineers. They provide the leadership and expertise for numerous projects focused on the relationships between engineering, technology, and the quality of life. The NAE is part of The National Academies of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine. The NAE operates under the same congressional act of incorporation that established the National Academy of Sciences, signed in 1863 by President Lincoln. Under this charter the NAE is directed "whenever called upon by any department or agency of the government, to investigate, examine, experiment, and report upon any subject of science or art." Engineering program activities cut across the many operational units of the National Academies of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine. The NAE’s independent assets and operating funds are held in the National Academy of Engineering Fund (NAEF), a tax-exempt corporation under section 501 (c) (3) of the Internal Revenue Code. It was created to support the mission and goals of the NAE and its tax identification number is 23-7284092.
