Services are provided 24/7/365 via technology on a global scale to American victims of sexual assault, domestic violence, dating violence, stalking and forced marriage. This is achieved via an international toll free crisis line, 833-SAFE-833, accessible from over 120 countries, serving a population estimated at 9 million American civilians living overseas, 80 million Americans traveling overseas, and the 450,000 American military personnel and their dependents.

Lifeline Energy is a non-profit social enterprise that provides sustainable information and education access to vulnerable populations. We achieve this by designing, manufacturing and distributing solar and wind-up media players and radios for classroom and group listening. Since 1999, we have distributed more than 500,000 power independent radios to provide on-demand access to information and education, mainly in sub-Saharan Africa. Over the years we have received numerous awards including the Tech Museum of Innovation Award, a World Bank Development Marketplace Award and an Index: Design to Improve Life Award. In addition, our founder and CEO Kristine Pearson was named one of TIME magazine's Heroes of the Environment for 2007 and received the James C. Morgan Global Humanitarian Award in 2005.

The mission of the Amazon Conservation Association is to unite science, innovation, and people to protect the western Amazon – the greatest wild forest on Earth. We envision a thriving Amazon that sustains the full diversity of life. Two decades in, we have protected over 8.15 million acres of rainforest; provided cutting-edge tools to government and forest users to protect their lands; empowered hundreds of indigenous communities to develop forest-friendly livelihoods; and hosted thousands of scientists pioneering innovative research at our three conservation hubs. The Center for Excellence in Education (CEE) has a successful history of contributing to the scientific leadership of this country. CEE was founded in 1983 by the late Admiral H. G. Rickover, the father of the nuclear navy and of civilian uses of nuclear power and Joann DiGennaro, CEE's President. They recognized that the nurturing of careers of excellence and leadership in science and technology in young scholars is an essential investment in our national and global future. CEE is a private, (501)(c)(3) not-for-profit corporation that provides cost-free programs to its student scholars through collaboration with educational institutions, private foundations, corporations and government agencies who share a commitment to educational excellence and leadership in science and technology. Central to all of CEE's programs is the understanding that talent in scientific and mathematical disciplines achieves its greatest fulfillment of promise when it is nurtured from an early age. All programs are designed to provide the ongoing nurturing that will assure that the nation and the world benefit from the future leadership that will come from fulfillment of the promise shown by the students accepted to participate.

Our mission is to ensure that all students are mathematically equipped to solve the world's most challenging problems. To achieve this goal, we are changing the way math is taught in the United States. We believe every child has the potential to be a powerful learner and to acquire the problem-solving and math proficiency needed to compete in a knowledge-based economy. Through our uniquely visual, non-language-based approach to teaching math — delivered through our ST Math instructional software — students across the country are deeply understanding math, developing perseverance and problem-solving skills, and becoming life-long learners prepared for success.

Working with local grassroots charities and NGOs in 13 countries across the globe, the Global Vision International (GVI) Charitable Trust manages and raises funds for numerous long-term programs. These funds are used to support our local partners with the aims of alleviating poverty, illiteracy, environmental degradation and climate change. We do this through education, nutrition, conservation and capacity building. Our work focuses upon 3 key objectives: awareness, impact and empowerment. The aim is to create awareness of global issues, have a direct impact on those issues locally and empower our alumni, be they volunteers, donors, staff or community members, to continue impacting local issues on a global level.

NECWA is a volunteer driven nonprofit based in southeastern MA. Our organization combines educational outreach with research and conservation activities to protect and rescue unique marine wildlife in the coastal waters of New England. We work within communities to help them to integrate with the wildlife around them, with the most benefit to both. NECWA aims to teach the next generation of field biologists and conservationists by providing internship opportunities for high school and college students to gain experience in the field of marine science. The data collected from our projects enhances our understanding of the fascinating marine wildlife found here. This data is shared with researchers in the United States and worldwide
