Health And Human Performance Foundation

The mission of HHPF is to conducts and disseminates research on using breathing practices to provide scalable, science-backed solutions for improving health and optimizing human performance. We empower individuals to take agency over their own well-being through the scientific understanding of mind-body practices. Our work is helping to reduce adolescent stress and anxiety and improve women’s health, first responder and athlete performance, and chronic condition symptom management. By researching practices that capitalize on the natural human capacity for stress regulation, HHPF is addressing issues where existing solutions fall short.

The Sea Turtle Recovery (STR) is dedicated to the rehabilitation, preservation and conservation of Sea Turtles. STR's goal is to rehabilitate sick or injured Sea Turtles for their release back to the wild. The Sea Turtle Recovery also educates the public on the important ecological role of sea turtles, threats endangering them, and ways to protect their future.

Watson Caring Science Institute

An international non-profit 501C(3) that advances the unitary philosophies, theories and practices of ‘Caring Science’, developed by Dr. Jean Watson, Ph.D., RN, AHN-BC, FAAN, LL (AAN). Caring Science is a transdisciplinary approach to NURSING that incorporates the art and science of nursing and includes concepts from the fields of philosophy, ethics, ecology and mind-body-spirit medicine. Focusing on research, education, practice, legacy and leadership, Watson Caring Science Institute aims to deepen the development and understanding of Caring Science and Practices, to dramatically transform patient/family experiences of caring and healing in schools, hospitals, the wider community and our planet. Ataxia Telangiectasia Children's Project

Brad and Vicki Margus founded the A-T Children's Project when two of their young sons were diagnosed with A-T in 1993. Ataxia-telangiectasia is a genetic disease that attacks in early childhood. It progressively affects coordination, predisposes children to lethal cancers, and severely compromises their immune systems. Children with A-T are usually unable to walk by the age of ten and rarely live beyond their teens. By supporting and coordinating aggressive research, we hope to give them a chance to live and to enjoy life's possibilities.

Sciencenter

The Sciencenter is a hands-on science museum located in Ithaca, New York. Mission: Cultivate an engaged community of curious, collaborative, critical thinkers. Vision: A community where people use science as a way of understanding the world. At the Sciencenter, visitors can enjoy hands-on experiences related to science, technology, engineering, and math. The exhibits are designed to build science process skills and provide interactive experiences that explore topics such as the environment, climate change, astronomy, and the health of the oceans. Visitors can also explore the world around them with the help of live animals like reptiles and fish. Most of the exhibits are created in the Sciencenter’s fabrication shop by its team of exhibit developers.
