Introduce children to the world of learning through play. Our Mission: - To introduce children to the “World of Learning” through hands-on creative and interactive exhibits, workshops, and special events. Our Vision: - That Children of diverse ages and backgrounds will learn through fun - That the Children’s Museum of Brownsville will complement the education system - That a child’s self worth will be enhanced through discovery and participation - That respect for others will be strengthened through interactive, cooperative play Our Goals: - To provide great customer care by demonstrating knowledge of services, respect, promptness, and reliability within and outward of the museum - To actively foster parental involvement in their children’s learning development - To cultivate children’s cultural curiosity, strengthen their imagination, and nurture creativity - To challenge and motivate children to discover new ways of learning by appealing to their sense of adventure and play through our exhibits, workshops and special events - To provide a positive atmosphere and clean environment for children and families to grow and learn - To encourage partnerships with complimentary organizations to enhance the opportunity for learning and effect positive changes in children’s lives - To focus on children (ages birth to 8 years) and their learning activities, as well as creating the opportunity for older children to be a part of the total learning process

PROVIDE SERVICES TO CHILDREN

Every year in the U.S., nearly 3000,000 children are Abused, nearly 3,000 of them die from the damage. Shiloh Christian Children's Ranch exists for these children. Shiloh is a set of six homes for near 60 abused/neglected and other children. Three of Shiloh's homes are located near Clarence, MO. Three Shiloh homes sit near Kahoka, MO. Shiloh opened it's first home for children in 1977. Shiloh has probably the most complete and unique program of its kind in the country.

The mission of The CAC is to provide a professional, compassionate and coordinated approach to the treatment of sexually abused children and their families and to serve as an advocate for all children in our community.

Malawi Children's Mission (MCM) serves orphans and vulnerable children in Malawi, Africa by providing nutritional, educational, healthcare and emotional support. The center assists local children in need with regular feeding, educational programs, emotional and spiritual development. MCM offers a safe environment in which children can have basic nutritional needs met while learning to progress in their studies and find much needed care and support.

Founded in 1976, the Children's Center of Knoxville provides child care to families in the Knoxville community from all economic backgrounds. As a partner of the United Way of Greater Knoxville, our unique program serves 116 children from 6 weeks to 5 years of age. We have an array of diversity among our staff and children proving an all inclusive center for those children who attend.

Family & Children's Aid is a community based, non-profit organization that offers innovative and responsive services to heal and support children, families and individuals in their time of need.

Empowering orphans and vulnerable children through education.

Real Life Children’s Ranch exists to provide residential group homes that care for boys and girls who have been abused, abandoned, and/or neglected. Real Life Children’s Ranch is a tax-exempt 501 (c)(3) non-profit organization approved by the State of Florida. The children typically range in age from five to seventeen. Our goal is to give children the best possible care in a safe family atmosphere and to guide them into fulfilling and productive futures.

For more than 120 years, Missouri Baptist Children's Home has provided a place where hurting children can find the love and care they so desperately need. Child abuse, abandonment, behavioral problems and emotional disturbances bring hundreds of children to Missouri Baptist Children's Home each year. Since we believe that God ordained the family as the primary institution for nurture, growth and support of children, our services reflect the belief that "family works". We therefore strive to find and/or establish families that work for those we serve. Children and families facing crisis situations need programs and services designed to meet the many needs with shich they are struggling. These families need resources and services they can access in their community and receive within a safe, caring environment. Missouri Baptist Children's Home provides trained, compassionate staff to work with families in crisis to strengthen them and assist them in becoming the best families they can be.
