LFP FOCUSES ON SOCIETY AT LARGE, SCHOOLS, AND WORKPLACES WHILE RECOGNIZING THOSE WHO CHAMPION THE LISTEN FIRST MISSION. NATIONAL CONVERSATION PROJECT IS AN OVERARCHING, COLLABORATIVE PLATFORM THAT AGGREGATES, ALIGNS, AND AMPLIFIES THE EFFORTS OF ALL PARTNERS TO MAINSTREAM CONVERSATIONS IN WHICH WE LISTENFIRST TO UNDERSTAND. NCP PROMOTES ANNUAL NATIONAL WEEKS OF CONVERSATION, LISTENFIRST FRIDAYS, CONVERSATIONS ON MAJOR ISSUES TOWARD COMMON GROUND SOLUTIONS, RAPID RESPONSE CONVERSATIONS ON URGENT TOPICS, LOCALLY-FOCUSED LISTENFIRST MOVEMENTS, AND ANY CONVERSATION INVITING PEOPLE OF ALL STRIPES TO REVITALIZE AMERICA TOGETHER.

Joyful Mind Project

The mission of Joyful Mind Project, a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit, is to increase the well-being of youth, families, and school communities through the practice of secular mindfulness. With a whole-child perspective, Joyful Mind Project offers mindfulness education to schools and families in Sonoma County and the surrounding area. Program content includes the mindful schools curriculum and traditional contemplative practices adapted for broader secular use. Attunement to seasonal rhythms is also utilized to help foster consistent practice beginning in early childhood and as prevention of health-risk behavior in adolescence.

York Street Project

Founded by the Sisters of St. Joseph of Peace in 1989, York Street Project's (YSP) mission is to weave together innovative programs that shelter, feed, educate and promote the healing and independence of persons in need, especially women and their children. York Street Project has an established record of providing quality services to nearly 500 homeless and low-income women and children each year. Using a comprehensive approach, we help our women heal from a life severely impacted by poverty, while also strengthening their life skills and independence as they transition to permanent housing.

The Media Project

A free and democratic press willing to explore the role of religion as an essential part of public life is one of the founding principles of The Media Project. The mission of 501c(3) organization includes helping journalists develop the skills needed to engage in an intellectually honest and critical approach to subjects related to religion, ethics and values to enrich and deepen coverage of religion -- regardless of the reporter's personal faith. Since it's founding, The Media Project has developed a worldwide network of journalists who often submit ideas for conferences and workshops most needed in the countries in which they live and work. The programs are open to journalists of all faith traditions.

Georgia Innocence Project

The mission of the Georgia Innocence Project (GIP) is to free the wrongly prosecuted in Georgia through DNA testing, to advance practices that minimize the chances that others suffer the same fate, to educate the public that wrongful convictions are not isolated or rare events, and to help the exonerated rebuild their lives.

The Mayfly Project

The Mission of The Mayfly Project is to support children in foster care through fly fishing and introduce them to their local water ecosystems, with a hope that connecting them to a rewarding hobby will provide an opportunity for foster children to have fun, build confidence, and develop a meaningful connection with the outdoors.
