Our Church, founded in scripture and led by the Holy Spirit, is a body of faith, comprised of individual gifts and resources, assembled in unity to serve the Lord. The mission of the church is to make disciples of Jesus Christ for the transformation of the world.

The Mission of HUNI is to facilitate consistent and responsible communication among Highland neighbors and the community at-large, to improve the quality of life for its residents, organizations and businesses and to provide advocacy and promotion for our community.

Our mission is to increase the organized capacity of people to help others by mobilizing the caring power of our community.

This Fund will be administered by the Palmetto Project (a South Carolina non-profit dedicated to improving the lives of South Carolians). 100% of the funds donated will be used in this community to support local initiatives serving his home church, vulnerable populations and youth projects that Reverend Pinckney was so passionate about. Decisions on the use of these funds will be made a task force of stakeholders made up of a member or members of Reverend Pinckney’s family, colleagues, representatives from Emanuel AME Church and other members of our community selected for their specific expertise.

Established in 1982, the FCNL Education Fund is a 501(c)3 organization that works in concert with the Friends Committee on National Legislation, a 501(c)4 Quaker nonprofit.

Founded in 2007, The Independence Fund empowers our nation's severely wounded, injured, or ill Veterans to overcome physical, mental, and emotional wounds incurred in the line of duty. We improve the lives of both our Veterans and their families through The Independence Fund's Mobility, Caregiver, Adaptive Sports, and Advocacy programs, while also bridging the gap of unmet needs of veterans' caregivers. The Independence Fund works to give veterans the best mobility device options available, and as promote their mental and physical health.

To Serve The Homeless Population With Services Required To Assist And Empower Them To Become Independent And Self-Sufficient Productive Citizens To Obtain Permanent Housing And Ensuring Their Children's Rights To Education And Healthcare.
