Every 13 minutes a woman dies from breast cancer. Each year in the United States alone, more than 275,000 women and hundreds of men are diagnosed with breast cancer, and more than 42,000 die from the disease. Another 3 million people are living with the disease. The National Breast Cancer Coalition Fund's mission is to end breast cancer by increasing federal funding for breast cancer research, creating access to breast and cervical cancer care for underserved and uninsured women, and training advocates to play an active role wherever breast cancer decisions are made.

Founded in 1901, Jewish National Fund is a non-profit organization. JNF is the caretaker of the land of Israel, on behalf of its owners - Jewish people everywhere. As a registered charity, the Children’s Aid Foundation raises funds for programs of the Children’s Aid Society and other child welfare organizations that support children in three critical areas: Education programs that give children a chance to pursue their dreams and build successful lives for themselves, Enrichment programs that provide recreational and cultural opportunities so that disadvantaged children can experience healthy development, and Prevention programs that provide support for families before abuse and neglect begin.
