The mission of the Richard Murphy Hospice House is to provide a safe and comfortable haven for hospice patients who are without primary caregivers, and/or is at risk in their current home environment if such home exists at all. There will be no financial charge to the patient or their families.

Windsor House Adult Day Health (ADH) program became the geriatric program of New Communities Services, Inc. (NCS) in 1977, and currently operates two lively cost-effective adult day health centers. It continues with an excellent track record to keep adults where they want to be- in the familiar settings of their homes and communities and is committed to provide eligible residents opportunities to age in the least restrictive place, with services designed to maintain independence and enhance their sense of self-worth. Windsor House ADH also aims to diminish caregiver stress through respite, support groups, and educational materials.

We believe that everyone deserves to live a life free from violence. The mission of Raphael House is to engage our entire community in non-violent living through advocacy, education, and community outreach, and by providing a safe haven from domestic violence.

Covenant House serves young people facing homelessness and trafficking by providing relentless support, absolute respect, and unconditional love. Since 1987, we have served over 30,000 youth, offering food, emergency shelter, clothing, medical attention, individual & family counseling, educational assistance, vocational & job training services, life skills, short & long term housing, and so much more. In the past 10 years, our average daily census has increased from 45 to 220 kids per night. As a private nonprofit, we are dependent on charitable donations for 64% of our funding.

Their mission is to empower, safeguard and serve youth, ages 18-24, who are experiencing homelessness, disconnection and exploitation in the Greater Washington region with housing, education, wrap-around support services, workforce readiness training and job placement support to help them get back and stay on track. We envision a region where all youth experiencing homelessness are “at home” safe, secure and thriving.

THE PHYSICAL, EMOTIONAL AND SPIRITUAL WELL-BEING OF THE MOTHER AND HER BABY ARE CARED FOR THROUGH THE LOVING DIRECTION OF STAFF MEMBERS AND ACCESS TO RESOURCES INCLUDING, EDUCATIONAL, OCCUPATIONAL AND SPIRITUAL IN THE CATHOLIC TRADITION, GIVING THEM THE OPPORTUNITY TO ACHIEVE THEIR GOD-GIVEN POTENTIAL.
