Brides dream of having the perfect dress and a beautiful gown is an essential part of every bride's special day. Brides Across America, founded in 2008, plays a role in making their dreams come true by giving a military or first responder bride a free wedding gown during an “Operation Wedding Gown Event”. Deployments, financial hardships, and other challenges unique to servicemen and women can make it difficult to plan a wedding. Brides Across America has donated over 20,000 gowns and gifted 20 weddings.

The mission of the Jewish Federation of Greater Hartford is to enhance, build and perpetuate Jewish life in Greater Hartford, in Israel, and around the world. The Federation fulfills its mission through its annual campaign, financial resource development, planning, community relations efforts and by working in partnership with local, national and international Jewish charitable organizations, social service agencies, educational institutions and synagogues. The Federation is guided by the Jewish values of Tzedakah (righteous giving), Tikkun Olam (improving the world), and Klal Yisrael (the unity of the Jewish people).

Youth Guidance sees a bright and successful future for every elementary and high school student.  Because we believe that success in school is not only possible but should be achieved and celebrated, we are present in the schools to facilitate an environment that truly engages students in the learning process, and through careful guidance, enables them to realize their full potential and graduate with a meaningful plan for successfully managing life. Youth Guidance creates and implements school-based programs that enable children to overcome obstacles, focus on their education and, ultimately, to succeed in school and in life.

Irving Cares provides focused assistance for Irving residents to address a financial crisis.Irving Cares will:• Provide clients with services in a respectful and dignified manner without regard to race, color, gender, age, disability, religion or national origin• Identify and address the needs of the Irving community• Partner with clients to develop solutions that lead to self-sufficiency• Work with volunteers, agencies, and organizations for greater impact and effectiveness• Assure donors and supporters of superior management and fiduciary practices• Implement a sound fund development plan in support of commitments to the community

Mission Following in a tradition that services those in need, the Epiphany Education Center is dedicated to helping elementary and middle school students achieve academic growth, self-confidence, and appropriate maturity. Vision Epiphany Education Center is envisioned as a place where qualified teachers help students to develop academically, improve self-esteem, and imbibe values that foster a peaceful society. Our tutoring sessions are one to one. Tutors, parents, schools and students work together to create individual learning plans which address the individual needs of each student.

For over 80 years, the Boys and Girls Club in East Providence has helped the young people thrive! Our mission is a simple but critical one: to inspire, enable, educate, and reach out to all young people in East Providence, especially those who need us the most, to realize their full potential as productive, responsible, and caring citizens. We do this by offering before and after school programs each day to help our members graduate from school on time and with a plan for the future, learn to living healthy lives, and develop into good citizens in their communities.

Casa Familia Inc. will foster affordable housing, vocational training, employment services, and person centered solutions for individuals with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities. Our planned residential community will be a safe and caring home for adults with IDD providing each individual with physical and emotional security and a dignified quality of life. Casa Familia Inc. will encompass a community of people including caregivers, educators, friends and family that will empower and sustain the residents to live meaningful, productive and fulfilling lives. Continued lifelong learning, social growth and skills development will support the residents to achieve their fullest potential.

The Green Mountain Horse Association is a non-profit corporation that organizes competitive, recreational and educational equine activities in five disciplines (combined training, dressage, driving, hunters/jumpers, and trail), bringing 10,000 people to the area each year as competitors, volunteers and spectators. Located in South Woodstock, VT, the GMHA enjoys some of the nation's finest trails. GMHA has begun a multi-faceted effort to ensure the sustainability of our trail system and local open spaces, including digital mapping projects, development of a trail preservation plan, and land acquisition.
