The Canadian Hero Fund is a charitable organization dedicated to supporting Canadian military personnel and their families. The Canadian Hero Fund was founded by a group of students at the University of Toronto who were deeply impacted by the increasing number of Canadian casualties and the young families they left behind. As a non-political civilian charity, the Canadian Hero Fund raises money through community, grassroots efforts. The Canadian Hero Fund also acts as a conduit for all Canadians to show their support and care for military families and their sacrifice. The Girls First Fund imagines a world where girls and women can live in safety, dignity, and freedom, with meaningful choices about their lives, including if, when, and whom they marry. We know that without CBOs and community driven strategies, this vision will not be realized, so a primary aim of the Girls First Fund (GFF) is to radically expand resources to community-based organizations to deliver locally relevant, girl-led and/or -centered, gender-transformative strategies.

The mission of the Children's Guardian Fund is to meet the emergency needs of children removed from abusive and neglectful homes and to reestablish normal childhood experiences in their lives during their stay in foster or state care.

TO PROMOTE, SUPPORT, AND FACILITATE THE WORK OF THE RESCUE MISSION MINISTRIES, INC. D/B/A DURHAM RESCUE MISSION, DURHAM NC, A NONPROFIT CORPORATION ORGANIZED UNDER NC LAW. GOD HAS BLESSED RESCUE MISSION MINISTRIES, INC. WITH FUNDS THAT HAVE BEEN DESIGNATED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS IN ITS LONG-RANGE PLAN FOR UTILIZATION OF UNRESTRICTED NET ASSET FUNDS. THE PRIMARY OBJECTIVE IS TO BE A GOOD STEWARD OF THESE ASSETS, BY MANAGING AND PRODUCING A FAVORABLE INVESTMENT RETURN AS COMPARED AGAINST INFLATION.

The fund was established in 1990 with the goal of helping meet the modest and immediate needs of Washington students encountered by Washington Education Association members in their daily workplaces. The intent is to ensure that the physical, social and emotional needs of students do not stand in the way of success within the school setting.

For over 30 years, Chicago Chesed Fund has changed the lives of thousands of Chicagoans. Every day we wake up with the drive to help our neighbors. Over the years we have grown and expanded to be able to address any need that comes up. Here is what we have accomplished so far:

THE HCA HOPE FUND OPERATES TO HELP CURRENT AND FORMER EMPLOYEES OF AFFILIATES OF HCA HEALTHCARE, INC., INDIVIDUALS WHO PROVIDE CONTRACT SERVICES TO AFFILIATES OF HCA HEALTHCARE, INC., AND THEIR RESPECTIVE FAMILIES WHO ARE AFFECTED BY FINANCIAL HARDSHIP DUE TO AN EVENT BEYOND THEIR CONTROL, INCLUDING DISASTERS, DEATH, EXTENDED ILLNESS OR INJURY, DOMESTIC VIOLENCE, AND OTHER SPECIAL SITUATIONS.

The organization provides housing, shelter and basic human needs such as food, education, health care and life skills training to abandoned children, desperate victims of disease, war and extreme poverty by supporting better family health care through donated medicine and provided funding for medicine, medical supplies, clothing, orphan care (housing, food, clothing, education and health care) for abandoned children around the world.

. TO PROVIDE GIFTS AT CHRISTMAS TIME FOR NEEDY CHILDREN..

To make authorized grants to any distressed, underprivileged individuals with a focus, but not a requirement, that such grantees be current or former players, coaches, staff of the professional, collegiate, high school, or other sports associations, including spouse and children of such person.

Engaging in relief assistance and sustainable human development programs in an effort to alleviate human suffering in the world

SUPPORT GIRL RISING IN INDIA. TACKLE THE BARRIERS THAT GIRLS FACE AT A LOCAL LEVEL AND EMPOWER THEM TO BE THE DRIVERS OF THE COMMUNITY LED CHANGE. THE GIRL RISING FILM IS AN INCREDIBLY POWERFUL ADVOCACY TOOL THAT BRILLIANTLY BLENDS THE HUMAN ASPECT WITH THE HARD DATA.
