The Order of Saint Augustine includes some 2800 Augustinians in 47 countries throughout the world. The Province of Saint Thomas of Villanova, founded in 1796, is comprised of the East Coast of the United States and international missions in Peru and Japan. Following is a listing of the Augustinian communities and apostolates of the Province of Saint Thomas of Villanova.

OUR PRIMARY PURPOSE IS TO SHOW THE LOVE OF CHRIST TO INDIVIDUALS IN NEED BY PROVIDING FREE FOOD, LOW COST CLOTHING AND HOUSEHOLD GOODS, COUNSELING AND PRAYER. WE PROVIDE OPPORTUNITIES FOR SELF HELP AND CONNECTION TO CHRISTIAN MENTORS. THE MINISTRY ALSO PROVIDES OPPORTUNITIES FOR VOLUNTEERS TO EXPRESS THEIR LOVE AND SERVICE TO CHRIST BY ACTS OF KINDNESS TO THOSE IN NEED.

Our goal is to assist the Armenian people in using trees to improve their standard of living and protect the global environment. In so doing, we are guided by the need to promote self-sufficiency, aid those with the fewest resources first, and conserve the indigenous ecosystem.

Our mission is to provide free legal and social services to detained adults and unaccompanied children facing immigration removal proceedings in Arizona. Our vision is to ensure that all immigrants facing removal have access to counsel, understand their rights under the law, and are treated fairly and humanely.

The Mission of Prject ReNeWal is to provide the support and services necessary for families and individuals in the Georgia Counties of Rockdale, Newton and Walton to live in violence-free homes.

Project IOWA’s mission is to serve as a bridge between unemployed and underemployed persons seeking livable wage careers and employers seeking workers; thereby transforming lives and benefiting communities.

Remember Us: The Holocaust Bnai Mitzvah Project offers an invitation to children preparing for bar/bat mitzvah to connect with the memory of children lost in the Holocaust before they could be called to the Torah.

The Himalayan Stove Project is a humanitarian & philanthropic program. It is dedicated to preserving the Himalayan environment and improving the health of the people living in the trans-Himalayan region. We donate and distribute, free, clean-burning, fuel-efficient Envirofit cook stoves, transforming the lives of individuals and families who now cook with traditional, rudimentary stoves or over open fire pits inside their homes, consuming excessive amounts of precious fuel and polluting the indoor air to dangerously unhealthy levels.

Our primary organizational goals and accompanying objectives are to build the capacity of families to become increasingly self-sufficient through comprehensive strategies that provide needed resources and opportunities for 1) high quality career planning and assessment services that encourage the selection of careers which are suitable to the individual and that pay a living wage; 2) education and training related to the chosen career and to life skills in general; 3) connections with potential employers and community members able to open doors to meaningful employment; 4) the removal of barriers to self-sufficiency; 5) facilitation of healthy family functioning; and 6) the empowerment of program participants to engage in self-advocacy. Project Self-Sufficiency also seeks to prevent the continuation of poverty from generation to generation through a series of interventions that support and educate families while modeling successful behaviors by adults for children.
