The Advocacy Project - A Voice for the Voiceless The Advocacy Project (AP) helps marginalized communities around the world take action against the root causes of their disempowerment in a way that benefits society as a whole and produces social change. To do this, we partner with community-based advocates who represent these communities and share their problems. Our support for partners is innovative and effective. First, we deploy Peace Fellows (experienced graduate students) to help partners tell their story, launch campaigns, and strengthen their organization: we have deployed 274 Peace Fellows since 2003, and in the process given our Fellows a unique experience. Second, we help partners to raise funds and manage their campaigns: we have raised over $2.5 million for partners, and are currently seeking funds through Global Giving for exciting projects in Nepal, Vietnam and Uganda. Third, we promote the work of partners internationally, using new methods of story-telling such as advocacy quilting: over 300 women have produced embroidered panels for our quilts, which have been shown throughout North America and Europe. To invest in children of marginalized families in poor and remote areas of the Eastern Province by providing them with access to basic primary education, health care and well being.

Our mission is to develop new ideas and implement new solutions to address the short and long-term threats to elephant survival, providing them a new future free of cruelty and death at the hands of humans. Our unique approach of developing communities that will end poaching and illegal trafficking, implementing humane economies within host countries and by creating non-invasive research facilities, we will bring transformational change to this epic struggle while bettering the lives of the indigenous population and the host government. The Elephant Project will create self-sustaining and self-funding sanctuaries and communities reducing the need to constantly fundraise for the project. This project is designed to be a model that can be used all over the world to protect endangered species, better the economies of the host country, provide skills training, jobs, healthcare and educational opportunities for the indigenous population.

The NH Alliance provides opportunities for connection and collaboration that advance the Kingdom of God and strengthen the unique calling and mission of individual churches, ministries, individuals and businesses serving the Church of Jesus Christ in NH.

The organization's mission is to fulfill special dreams of children ages 3-18 who are faced with life threatening or chronically debilitating illness in the East Tennessee area.

Mission Statement of The Bernie House: The Bernie House offers survivors a longer-term housing solution and provides additional services to further those received in a domestic violence shelter. The longer periods of time offered, which can last up to two years, and access to services like counseling, and case management, fill a large gap between crisis intervention and stability. With the goal of transitioning families into stable housing and improved financial stability, The Bernie House provides an opportunity for victims to secure a job, go to school, become economically stable, and achieve a safe and healthy return to their community. The Granite YMCA creates a community where all are welcome. The Y builds a healthy spirit, mind and body in children, individuals, and families while instilling the values of caring, honesty, respect, and responsibility through our practices and programs.

The Parmenter Foundation provides hope and support for our community members who are grieving or in need of compassionate end-of-life care. We provide funding for nonprofit organizations that deliver high quality, innovative palliative care, and bereavement programs, and we offer educational and inspirational resources that help our neighbors navigate through the challenging grief process.
