THE PURPOSE OF THE HEALTHCARE-NOW EDUCATION FUND IS TO EDUCATE THE PUBLIC ABOUT OPTIONS TO SECURE HEALTHCARE FOR ALL PEOPLE IN THE UNITED STATES. THE FUND WILL PROVIDE EDUCATION ON EFFECTIVE METHODS OF ACHIEVING UNIVERSAL ACCESS TO HEALTH CARE WITHOUT FINANICAL BARRIER. THE FUND WILL CONCENTRATE ITS EFFORTS ON THE HEALTH CARE CRISIS IN THE UNITED STATES BUT MAY AT TIMES PROVIDE INFORMATION ON INTERNATIONAL HEALTH CARE SYSTEMS AS A CONTRAST TO THE SYSTEMS IN THE U.S.

The mission of Washington's National Park Fund is to raise private support to deepen everyone's love for, understanding of, and experiences in Mount Rainier, North Cascades and Olympic National Parks. Our vision is that our parks remain strong and vibrant, youthful and everlasting.

The Fund for Armenian Relief (FAR) is dedicated to improving the lives of Armenians and preparing them for the 21st century. The Intrepid Fallen Heroes Fund serves United States military personnel experiencing the Invisible Wounds of War: Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) and Post-Traumatic Stress (PTS). When our Servicemen and women return from the battlefield, we help them by building world class, advanced treatment centers, providing the best TBI and PTS care, and enabling them to continue to serve on active duty or enjoy a full civilian life.

The Lambi Fund of Haiti's mission is to assist the popular democratic movement in Haiti. Lambi Fund provides financial resources, training and technical assistance to peasant-led community organizations that promote the social and economic empowerment of the Haitian people.

The Scales Conservation Fund is a means in which to assist conservation based NPO's in continuing their critical work through providing funding and support. SCF offers services such as preparation and submission of funding proposals, linking organisations with suitable corporate sponsors, hosting fund raising events, sourcing of sponsorship and equipment and raising awareness through social media platforms all at no cost to the beneficiaries. It is SCFs goal to make a difference to real non-profit organisations operating tirelessly to save Africa's threatened wildlife. By working together we can make a difference!

The Giving Back Fund is a national public charity with the following goals: To help cultivate a new group of philanthropists within the entertainment and sports industries, with a particular emphasis on groups often underrepresented in traditional philanthropy such as people of color, women, and youth. The mission of the Vietnam Veterans Memorial Fund (VVMF) is to honor and preserve the legacy of service and educate all generations about the impact of the Vietnam War. Based in Arlington, Virginia, VVMF is the nonprofit organization authorized by the U.S. Congress in 1980 to build a national memorial dedicated to all who served with the U.S. armed forces in the Vietnam War. Incorporated on April 27, 1979 by a group of veterans led by Jan C. Scruggs, the organization sought a tangible symbol of recognition from the American people for those who served in the war. The result was the Vietnam Veterans Memorial (commonly referred to as The Wall), which has become one of the most visited memorials in Washington, D.C. with an estimated 5.6 million annual visitors.

The Idjwi Island Education Fund is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization with the mission of providing a better school for children in the village of Buhumba on Idjwi Island in the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC). Idjwi Island, located in Lake Kivu on the eastern border of the DRC, has seen a dramatic increase in its population in recent years, much of which is the result of refugees fleeing violence in Rwanda and the DRC. A substantial number of these new residents are children, including many orphans. Approximately 400 children attend the existing primary school. This makeshift school is overcrowded, has a leaky roof, and does not provide desks or even books for the students. In 2009, Them Nyamunongo, who grew up on Idjwi and now works in Washington, D.C., returned to visit family on the island. During his stay, he gave gifts to children that he met in Buhumba. As he spent time with the children, he learned about the extremely poor conditions at the school, including how it has become overcrowded due to the increase in refugees and orphans. The children told him that their true wish was for a school with a roof so that they were not sent home every time that it rained. When Them returned to Washington, D.C., he and his wife, Safi, approached a friend who is a director at a local preschool. From this meeting in late 2009, the Idjwi Island Education Fund was formed. In just over eighteen months, the Idjwi Island Education Fund has obtained property in Buhumba for the new school (which was donated by Them's family), met with and conducted a needs assessment with the director of the existing school, and provided some interim support for the facilities at the existing school. The Fund has recruited a board of directors that includes professionals with experience in international development and project management. The Fund has also conducted a series of fundraising events through which it has raised more than $15,000, in gifts ranging from $20 to 1,000, from more than 100 different donors. With this foundation in place, the Fund is intensifying its efforts on the design program for the new school, interviewing representatives of other non-governmental organizations with experience with similar projects in the region, and identifying local organizations to collaborate in the building process. The ultimate goal of this effort is to provide improved facilities, desks, books, and a safe-haven for more than 400 primary school children in this isolated community.
