FOUNDED IN 1988, THE MIDDLE EAST CHILDREN'S ALLIANCE IS A REGISTERED NONPROFIT ORGANIZATION WORKING FOR THE RIGHTS AND THE WELL BEING OF CHILDREN IN THE MIDDLE EAST. MECA SENDS SHIPMENTS OF AID TO PALESTINE, IRAQ AND LEBANON, AND SUPPORTS PROJECTS THAT MAKE LIFE BETTER FOR THE CHILDREN. WE EDUCATE NORTH AMERICANS ABOUT CHILDREN IN THE REGION. MECA WELCOMES THE SUPPORT OF ALL PEOPLE WHO CARE ABOUT CHILDREN AND THEIR FUTURE.

Founded in 1904, the Navy-Marine Corps Relief Society operates nearly 250 offices ashore and afloat at Navy and Marine Corps bases throughout the world.  The Society provides financial, educational, and other assistance to active duty and retired members of the U.S. Navy and Marine Corps, their eligible family members, and survivors to achieve financial self-sufficiency and find solutions to emergency needs.

We offer vital resources to authorities around the world and work tirelessly to raise awareness and meet survivors on their healing journey. Family Legacy is a faith-based, Christian, God-led organization that exists to glorify God by empowering vulnerable children in Zambia to live out their God-given potential. We do this by engaging more than 10,000 individuals and families from around the world with God’s heart for these children, face-to-face and heart-to-heart, through the power of God’s word, quality education and residential care.With almost 14,000 Zambian children attending one of our private Christian Legacy Academy schools, Family Legacy is not an orphanage or a missionary organization or an economic development organization. We are a unique NGO focused on caring for orphaned and vulnerable/at-risk Zambian children on a variety of levels.

The mission of the Food Bank For New York City is to end hunger by organizing food, information and support for community survival and dignity.

Fisher House Foundation builds comfort homes where military & veterans families can stay free of charge, while a loved one is in the hospital. These homes are located at military and VA medical centers around the world. Fisher Houses have up to 21 suites, with private bedrooms and baths. Families share a common kitchen, laundry facilities, a warm dining room and an inviting living room. Since inception, the program has saved military and veterans’ families an estimated $407 million in out of pocket costs for lodging and transportation. Fisher House Foundation also operates the Hero Miles program, using donated frequent flyer miles to bring family members to the bedside of injured service members as well as the Hotels for Heroes program using donated hotel points to allow family members to stay at hotels near medical centers without charge. The Foundation also manages a grant program that supports other military charities and scholarship funds for military children, spouses and children of fallen and disabled veterans.

Girls Who Code programs work to inspire, educate, and equip girls with the computing skills to pursue 21st century opportunities. Our organization values bravery, sisterhood, and activism as we work to fulfill our mission to close the gender gap in tech.
