The Virginia Avenue Project empowers kids to think creatively, courageously and critically about life goals and choices by providing free, Writing and Performing Arts programming, in conjunction with long-term mentoring, throughout their growing years.

The mission of the Edible Schoolyard Project is to build andshare an edible education curriculum for kindergarten through high school. Ourvision is for gardens and kitchens to become interactive classrooms foracademic subjects, and for every student to have a free, nutritious, organiclunch. If this program is integrated into schools, the curriculum couldtransform the health and values of every child in America.

Founded in 2011, BFTW's mission is to make quality used bicycles and parts affordable and available to lower income people and select institutions in developing countries to enhance their lives and livelihoods through better transport; and to generate skilled employment in bicycle repair and maintenance overseas, and to provide satisfying environmental and humanitarian community service opportunities for volunteers in the United States. Give to the World helps to stabilize the most conflict-ridden areas of the world by providing families with the humanitarian aid they require for daily survival. Our material and supplies save lives, alleviate suffering, restore dignity, and provide the foundation for further economic, political, and social development. Give to the World is a non-profit organization that delivers critical material overseas to desperate people living in conflict zones through legitimate organizations who partner with the United Nations, United States, and European union.

It makes a difference to that one.

We develop and grow programs that challenge the cycle of poverty in our community with a spirit of inclusion, compassion and justice. Founded almost ten years ago, The Shalom Project shares resources via a food pantry, clothing closet, medical clinic and the Circles initiative, an approach that combines Circles USA techniques with the individualized support of our dedicated volunteers and the resources of organizations and communities, creating an environment that educates, empowers and equips our members to move up and out of poverty successfully.

Founded in 2006, the Noyo Food Forest Mission is to cultivate and model a healthy local food system, by providing opportunities for Mendocino Coast youth and community to learn about, grow, and access garden-fresh food.

Our mission is to identify, listen to, support and connect grassroots community organizations operating below the radar of larger funders, mostly in the greater Boston area.

The GOD'S CHILD Project's mission is "to break the bitter chains of poverty through education, housing and healthcare." While GOD'S CHILD is rooted in education and health-care, we aim to support the communities we serve at every level of development. Through our wide range of programs, we help children and families living in extreme poverty to meet their basic needs and find a restored sense of hope, self-worth and human dignity. Religious affiliation is not a requirement for any program services.

The Summit is a community of men and women who follow Jesus Christ and live out his mission to the city of Denver and the world. At the core of this vision are a few important beliefs: GOSPEL: Jesus is active today and is transforming lives by His Spirit—a reality made possible because He lived the sinless life we couldn't live, died the sacrificial death that we deserved, and resurrected from the grave to reign forever! Now, by the power of His Spirit, we boldly proclaim the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus and the hope that this Good News offers to the city. COMMUNITY: The gospel does not just free individuals from the tyranny of sin and evil, it also restores us to right relationship with God and others. Thus, life isn’t meant to be lived alone – we need friends and family to partner with us on this journey. God desires that those who follow Jesus live in community rather than isolation in order to grow with one another and be changed by His gospel in radical ways. This community is called the Church. MISSION: Since the beginning of Creation, God has been on a mission to make himself known to humanity. Though this was ruined by sin, through Jesus, we are restored and empowered to take part in God's mission of reconciliation and salvation to the world. Therefore, we exist not for ourselves but rather for the joy and good of the people around us. In sum, we are serious about following Jesus by the power of his Spirit. We want to understand his gospel with excellence, and as a result, live well in community and on mission to the city of Denver.
