Mission of Kochard Foundation Spread kindness and give a helping hand to children with gastrointestinal tract diseases. The aim of Kochard Foundation is to provide support to children and adolescents from disadvantaged families in Armenia who suffer from intestinal diseases, particularly inflammatory bowel disease. This will enable them to receive timely and complete access to a definitive diagnosis, necessary treatment, and follow-up care. Inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) is a group of diseases that cause chronic inflammation in the gastrointestinal tract. The two major IBD types include ulcerative colitis and Crohn's disease. In case of failure of proper diagnosis and receiving timely therapy, IBD result in a number of complications, including bowel obstruction, severe dehydration, toxic megacolon, etc. In addition to supporting children and adolescents with diagnosis and treatment of IBD, Kochard Foundation has also undertaken the mission of raising awareness about the IBD and intestinal diseases in general, as well as facilitating of collecting and analyzing complete data regarding the morbidity and prevalence of these diseases amongst the population of the Republic of Armenia.

Enhancing the lives of women and families in remote coffee producing communities throughout the world. #grantingHOPEworldwide The Cafe Femenino Foundation (CFF) offers hope, opportunity, aid, and encouragement to disenfranchised women in the poorest and least accessible areas of coffee-growing countries. These women perform much of the physical labor required to grow and harvest coffee, yet they have almost no influence on decisions about their family’s income. They are typically uneducated, impoverished and disconnected from resources. We enhance the status of the women by empowering them with skills and income producing opportunities by providing small grants and micro-loans to help the women and their families diversify their income sources. The grants improve the nutrition, health and education of their families and communities. The foundation also provides emergency aid when there is typically none. Since 2004, the Cafe Femenino Foundation has funded grants received directly from the women coffee producers in 10 different countries. Triple E Foundation was established on November 18, 2016 in Hampton, VA. Triple E Foundation is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization that provides programs to community youth which help narrow the gap in achievement, education and performance. The organization offers programs to 7-12 graders which focus on eight learning areas: Health and Wellness, Arts and Cultural Awareness, Financial Matters, Academic and Career Exploration, Self –Awareness, Communication and Etiquette, Spiritual Awareness, and Community and Civic Engagement. THE WANDA ALSTON FOUNDATION SERVES AS THE FIRST AND ONLY HOUSING PROGRAM IN WASHINGTON, DC THAT IS SOLELY DEDICATED TO OFFERING PRE-INDEPENDENT LIVING SERVICES TO HOMELESS LGBTQ YOUTH AGES 16-24. THESE SERIVES INCLUDE: LONG-TERM TRANSTITIONAL LIVING, CASE MANAGEMENT, EDUCATIONAL GUIDANCE AND SUPPORT, JOB TRAINING AND GUIDANCE, AND SUPPORT SERVICE REFERRALS. HOUSE RESIDENTS HAVE THEIR OWN ROOMS AND LIVE WITH AN ADVOCATE WITH EXTENSIVE EXPERIENCE WITH HOUSING AND LGBTQ ISSUES. ADDITIONALLY, THE FOUNDATION OFFERS EACH YOUTH A LIFE SKILLS COUNSELOR WHO WORKS WITH THE RESIDENTS DAILY ON ISSUES RELATING TO EDUCATION/VOCATIONAL TRAINING, HOUSING, AND OTHER MATTERS AS NECESSARY

The resulting funding gap forces them to focus a disproportionate amount of time on maintaining the operation of their organizations. As a result, they usually have neither the energy nor money to conduct large-scale fund-raising activities or focus on improving the impact of their programs. Shanghai United Foundation (SUF) focuses on fund-raising for grassroots NGOs in an effort to relieve much of the financial burden that limits the growth and impact of promising organizations.
