Founded in 1978, Family Violence Law Center (FVLC) helps diverse communities in Alameda County heal from domestic violence and sexual assault, advocating for justice and healthy relationships. They provide survivor-centered legal and crisis intervention services, offer prevention education for youth and other community members, and engage in policy work to create systemic change.

Mission: The Center for Youth provides comprehensive programs and services from prevention education to counseling to emergency shelter to youth development opportunities with respect for and full participation of youth. THE MISSION OF SEATTLE INFANT DEVELOPMENT CENTER To provide a safe, supportive environment for all working families who are entrusting SIDC with the care of their children regardless of special needs, lifestyles, race, or religion. To address each child’s individual physical, cognitive, and emotional needs for the purpose of nurturing and enhancing positive self-esteem. To encourage open communication and participation of all families in the care of their children. To provide a rewarding, educational, and responsive working environment for all caregiver and staff. To work with other childcare centers in addressing the specific needs of the downtown community and share our experience and knowledge with other centers and the community.
