Heights Hill Mental Health Service

Rainbow Heights Club provides a safe place for LGBTQ+ people living with severe mental illness find the support they need to continue on their path to recovery. All CAB programs and services can be accessed free of charge to the client. The RHC program serves 50+ people per day and is open five days/evenings per week; We offer over 25 support and activity groups weekly, as well as a free afternoon meal for participants in the days activities.

Interagency Council of Mental Retardation

The InterAgency Council (IAC) is the membership organization representing the not-for-profit providers of services to individuals with mental retardation and developmental disabilities, and their families, in the metropolitan New York City area. Our membership includes some 125 corporations with over 900 programs providing services to more than 100,000 individuals each day. Services include infant assessment, early intervention, preschools, schools, recreation, family supports, employment programs, residential services, and clinical treatment programs.

It seeks to: Engage public will and increase public and private investment in quality afterschool program initiatives at the national, state and local levels. Serve as an information source on afterschool programs and resources. Encourage the development of local, state and national afterschool constituencies and systems. Communicate the impact of afterschool programs on children, families and communities.

Waterkeeper Alliance

Founded in 1999 by environmental attorney and activist Robert F. Kennedy, Jr., and several veteran Waterkeepers, Waterkeeper Alliance is a global movement of on-the-water advocates who patrol and protect over 100,000 miles of rivers, streams and coastlines in North and South America, Europe, Australia, Asia and Africa. Waterkeepers defend their communities against anyone who threatens their right to clean water - from law-breaking polluters to unresponsive government agencies. Made up of nearly 200 local Waterkeeper organizations, Waterkeeper Alliance keeps Waterkeepers connected, provides them with legal, scientific and communications support, and unites their voices as they take on major global water issues together.

Read Alliance

Read Alliance serves at-risk kindergarten and first graders by recruiting and training teens to provide structured one-to-one tutoring in reading.We focus on students in the early grades to prevent reading difficulties before they become barriers to future success.  Our students average a full grade level improvement in reading while their teen tutors develop college, career and life skills.

Wildlife Alliance

Wildlife Alliance’s mission is to protect and preserve forests and wildlife for future generations. We work directly with communities and governments to improve forest management and institute good governance to comprehensively address the devastation of ecosystems and combat the illegal wildlife trade. Our programs in Southeast Asia and the Russian Far East fight forest crime in high biodiversity areas, and actively promote diversified agriculture, community-based ecotourism, and reforestation. We create economic incentives and build political will within communities to preserve the environment.
