The House with a Heart Pet Sanctuary mission is to provide senior and special needs pets with a loving and caring home where they will be allowed to live out their lives in a secure, nurturing environment. We provide residents with a comfortable, bright, and spotless home environment. They play in secure outdoor yards and spend supervised time in fenced, grassy fields on the two-acre property. Healthcare and wellness screening are ongoing, with veterinary specialists consulted when needed. Pets receive special diets, as necessary, and are fed high-quality foods and treats.
The American Foundation for Children with AIDS (AFCA) is a non-profit organization providing critical comprehensive services to infected and affected HIV+ children and their caregivers. Our programs are efficient, promoting self-reliance and sustainability. Since 2005, in collaboration with our in-country partners, we have served tens of thousands of families in some of the most underserved and marginalized communities in Africa. Our areas of impact include: medical support, livelihoods, educational support and emergency relief. Currently, AFCA is transforming lives in Kenya, Uganda, Zimbabwe, and the Democratic Republic of Congo.

Villa Chardonnay, Horses with Wings, Inc. sanctuary is dedicated to the compassionate care of senior animals, primarily horses. We provide love, a forever home and critical care for abused, neglected, slaughter-bound and/or abandoned creatures. Our goal is to improve animal rights, eliminate abusive training and be the voice of those who cannot speak. To provide long-term care for mainly "special needs" and elderly horses and other animals. As a sanctuary, we provide a permanent home to all of the animals we rescue mainly horses. We are an assisted living and nursing home providing skilled care till their last breath.
MEND works to end hunger in Essex County by supporting our interfaith network of 17 food pantries. MEND provides funds, fresh and healthy food, social service referrals, volunteers, and a forum for all member pantries. MEND advocates for policies to eliminate food insecurity and to improve the quality of life for those in need in Essex County.

Launched by a coalition of immigrant service providers and advocates, the UndocuFund for Fire Relief in Sonoma County provides direct assistance to undocumented victims of the Northern California fires. The Fund’s mission is to support undocumented children, families, and communities affected by the fires in Sonoma County to recover and rebuild. One hundred percent of all donations will go to victim support. Grantmakers Concerned with Immigrants and Refugees, a national nonprofit headquartered in Sebastopol, serves as the fiscal agent for the fund. GCIR and the other partners will cover the fund’s administrative costs.
